Want to play a shorter version? Just cut all the prices in half and play for three days.
Note: Slight profane language.
Note: In Note 2, it says 'We use logs, not planks.' That's not correct. GLOWSTONE is the currency. You can't buy things with logs, nor can you buy things with planks. Tiffany was a bit wonky when she said that.
Note: One quest giver says that you will be reimbursed if you buy a dress. Just keep the glowstone, it saves time.

Note: Make sure to extract it the file and then go inside. Copy just the file called adventuremap. Text files have just text. If you copy the whole PromNightAdventure folder into your saves, it won't work.

Welcome to Minecraft: Prom Night, a brand new adventure map which was made by Shinji Ikari and Treyl97. Here's what our game has to offer:
~A currency system.
~A job/quest system. Over 10 quests, some repeatable, to complete!
~A ridiculous plot. Notes and odd characters await in this lakeside town.(Yes, it's intentionally dopey.)
~An ultimate goal. Can you get the best dress before it's prom night?
Minecraft: Prom Night is a RPG-ish game set within Minecraft. In the game, you, a teenage girl, have a week until it's your prom night! Your quest is to get the best possible dress to wow all of your peers. Problem is, you just spent all of your allowance on a bed because your awful parents refused to buy you one. You have to get Glowstone, the game's currency. But, it won't be easy! You'll need to complete jobs for the people of the town!
Rules, Guidelines and other junk.
-In the game, you have one Minecraft week to get as many glowstone as you can. This means you have 7 minecraft days and 6 minecraft nights to do all of the jobs necessary. On the 7th night, it's your prom, and the dance floor is open.
-When quest says that it's repeatable, it means you can do it once per day/night cycle. When the sun begins to rise again, you're allowed to begin it once more.
-This game relies on an honor system. Unless you don't want to have fun, don't take more than you're told you can take or do what you can't do. There's glowstone in the chests which you can EASILY remove. Hell, you could easily spawn items for the best dress or just break into everything. We didn't know how to code a real shopping system, so that's all based on honor as well. If you cheat, this game is pointless.
-When you reach something that says 'Note x' or 'Job x,' you need to open the text files that came with the files to read what they're about. Signs just don't have enough space.
-If you're playing with 2 or more people, it's recommended that one person holds all the glowstone so you have it all ready. Another thing is that if one player buys something, the other player also gets it. For example, if one person buys an axe, the other person gets one of that axe as well with no extra charge.
-When you complete a quest, you can either downright get rid of the items or just place them back into the chest where you got your glowstone from. As afforementioned, it's totally based on an honor system. Giving it back isn't required.
-Don't mine anything or gather anything unless it's mentioned by the quest. For example, if you need to mine around stone when you do a quest, that's fine, but don't just randomly mine things.
-Crafting's totally forbidden. Anything you need in the game is either provided or can be bought. Cooking on a furnace is fine, but no crafting.
-Don't go through text files that you haven't found corresponding signs for. You might spoil something.
-You can complete multiple quests at a time in multiplayer if you so wish. It's recommended you don't play with more than 3 players, considering you'll run out of things to do very quickly. Dailies are limited to ONCE PER DAY ON THE SERVER. This means that if it's done by one person, no one else can do it again until the next day.
-Jobs don't need to be done in order, unless there's a quest prerequisite.
A few other things:
If it's well received, we might do another one with more quests or expand on the current game.
Maybe we'll add a competitive mode, where every player has to compete to get the dress first.
Please post any suggestions. Thank you for downloading/reading!
i dont mean to be rude but it wasnt very good. the plot seems pretty interesting it just wasnt dont right, put npcs in it and make boundries in it as well.
youve got a good idea, just not the right approach.

Just wondering, how'd you do the whole thing? It takes 7 full days of dailies to get the second best dress, and like 3 for the worst.
Anyways, we considered it, but this was a short project. We're considering it for future updates. Thank you for your feedback.

I love your signature.
We have a hamachi server which we used to build this, but that's about it.
Er, why don't you just download the Hamachi client and use it with your friend? It's really easy to just load the map onto it.
Treyl's working on it. He says he used a guide that he'll send you.
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server
That page should have everything you need. For help setting up Hamachi, this section will help.

Mods, I didn't double post.
I think he/she just deleted all of their posts.
What?
Yeah, 'tis odd.
But why wait-a-minute MegaUpload?
PS: Nice avatar.
Thank you.
I don't feel like forcing users to look at ads, if you're wondering why it's not ad.fly.
Wait, I guess Megaupload is just as bad with the waiting.
I guess I feel like less of an ass if I don't make money off of it?
Honestly, I just went to Megaupload first. Iunno.
