Introducing the latest ride coming soon with the FunLand 3 expansion!
You can literally circle the bowl all the way down to a watery finish. Any thoughts on a name for it?
The Flushinator.
I love this map soo much. Some of the rides made me dizzy though...
I think you should do a roller coaster that goes through the nether. Add a portal to the nether that plops you in font of the coaster maybe?

Everything is good, my captain. But the 42-generator has cut out, leaving the flux capacitor with no power. <-- About that, I was bored not in my right mind when I signed up for the MC forums, so my Sig Sucks.

some of these rides actually gave me vertigo. Great map with fun and unique rides, I strongly suggest this map as a way to take a break from minecraft, while still in minecraft!!!
I'd like to see a coaster that makes use of pistons. Maybe a safari ride aswell, maybe add a new secret area in the empty lions den?
The safari is definitely an interesting idea... I could see adding some strategic spawners along a tree-lined coaster path. Interesting stuff, thanks for your input!
Where is the VIP lounge? I've been looking 5 hours for it.
since a few people have been asking, I'll leave another hint.. head down toward King Solomon's Mines and squeeze between the hill and the River Street Cafe... you might get a little wet, but you'll find the VIP entrance for sure... that is if there really is a VIP lounge. :wink.gif:
I LOVE this map. I went on every single ride and attraction in the park! It's amazing! You deserve these diamonds!
...
Erm, I would give you diamonds, but I spent them all on the tickets. Oh well.
Also, you should add a hotel resort thing. I know a lot of amusement parks which do that.

If you can't count up to 2,047 on your fingers, you're an idiot.

FunLand 3.0 will hopefully help fix that for you. At the entrance to the park is now an ATM from which you can withdraw some gold bricks to buy more sweet FunLand merchandise throughout the park. :smile.gif:
The FunLand 3.0 expansion will not come out for awhile. It's currently about 50% done and going through an initial round of beta testing with some guys whose opinions I deeply respect. If you skim through this thread, you'll see some teaser pics of some of the larger rides that will be featured in 3.0.
It's a MASSIVE expansion to the water park section of the map, improving the experience of old rides, and pushing the limits of what you can do with severely nerfed boats in MineCraft. That being said, it probably expands the entire park by at least 1/3, which is no small task.
Along with big featured rides, there's lots of other little amusements that help fill in the gaps and create the amusement park atmosphere... sometimes those things take the most time, because I simply don't want to repeat things you see in other parts of the map. (There are only so many kinds of ways you can make chests with food bits in them feel like a restaurant.)
So much longer answer than you were probably looking for, but hopefully it'll provide a sneak peak behind the curtain. All that being said, I'd expect FunLand 3.0 sometime in the next 1-2 months. Around the time Minecraft moves out of beta. :smile.gif:
I Downloaded and Played this map,it's SUPER Fun!I LOVE the Artic wolf ride,Also, did you do this ALL By yourself? If you did,WOW.Your REALLY Talented,I Want to see more updates,it's just such a fun map!Oh,And is the cave diver map supost to have a HUGE Void in the bottem?O.O
Hey, I loved your Map!
A Friend and I thought we would make a trailer for it.
I hope you like it!
This is absolutely incredible! You did an amazing job! With your permission, I'd love to feature this on the first post in the thread. Thanks for your fantastic work!
FunLand is still compatible with Minecraft even with the latest update. However, a few quirks are not noticable throughout the map. For example, some of the lighting is off, you can no longer easily remove carts from tracks by punching them, etc. Perhaps the most notable bug is the shading and alignment of chests now appears to be off. While some are fine, others appear shaded out and turned around... while they're still function, they're a bit of an eyesore.
I don't plan on releasing another mini-update of FunLand 2.0 to correct these bugs. However, they will all be fixed in FunLand 3.0 that is still under-development. Thanks for all of your support, the amazing comments, videos, and buzz you've created around the map... you all rock!
