played it and the concept is very interesting :3 still haven't blown the house to bits because I love my granma
Anywho, what you should do (if you want) is add challenges to this map. Make the whole map smaller, and more barren so that the player is forced to fight/explore for the needed resources. like say that granny's house is part of a really small forest and other than that it's just barren dessert on one side and huge mountains with scarce trees on the other, whilst an endless ocean is in front of you. Make the player want to keep the house ok, like making the TNT more destructable by adding more tnt in the surrounding area. You could also add some kind of completion satisfaction by adding a momument (man I'm into CTM maps at the moment) where you have to put certain blocks into, so that the player is also forced to explore whilst still keeping his granny's house standing.
As for making the map smaller, I suggest that the playable part of the map is an isolated island.
Very nice idea, I like the concept and should definitely prepare the mansion of a friend like that :wink.gif:
A few comments:
Add the rule not to remove any water in the house, you can disarm the cake(disarming a cake, sounds funny) and the bed by removing the water behind it with a bucket. Same thing from the ladder in the back of the house, from there you can disarm cake+furnace. I know how the bomb works so I know I am not intended to remove any water, but a hint in the rules will hurt no one.
Having not removed any water I think I reached a point were I can only die because of a lack of storage space for coal. Found some lava in an external mine, took a bucket and got some of that awsome fuel. Now I am just chopping wood and keep burning ist for eternities^^
So far
Drachenmaul
P.S.: Just blew everything up, I don't like my grandma enough to keep feeding some furnace for the rest of my life
Holy crap, i'm so quoting that PS.

When I downloaded it, the first thing I did was prank my sister. I told her that she was visiting her grandma. :3 The bomb waited to go off until she tried the jukebox (about 2 minutes in).
But then I reset it and decided to actually play, and about 1 minute in the house blew up and I didn't even TOUCH it yet. Reset again, about 10 seconds in it explodes! How come it worked perfectly the first time? D:
How does this work? i can understand the cake and door trigger, but how does taking a record out of a juke box do anything? How does this work? i can understand the cake and door trigger, but how does taking a record out of a juke box do anything?

Here's me and my friend's playthrough of the map if you plan on featuring them on the original post or whatever. It's gonna last like eight episodes. hope you enjoy!
Oh fun. Bravo!

Maybe you like these ideas? :3
Yes. Very much so.
No. You are mistaken.
I built this by hand.

Review my map and I'll give you a sub, like, favorite, and +1!
We have a channel, ExplosiveGamingStudios, and I'm looking for a singleplayer map to LP between the SMP episodes we do.
If you click on the link in my signature you will find my 8 primary maps. I'd love an LP on any of them.
You can also find ~170 maps from other players that I've rated. Should be something there to catch your eye.
