Hey LOVING the map!
Only thing so far to annoy me was the whole "go east and find the red wire" really in the story it kind of makes out its not very far, and the hint is vague, and turns out its literally ACROSS the island.. Perhaps you should have put in the story instead of "walking away to cool down" you could say "pack up a few things and set out for a trek to get away from it all for a while" or something to that affect lol
Also as soon as I started playing I instantly thought this would work (if done properly) awesomely in AdventureCraft, with the right scripting and such you could easily put in the full Lost story along with what ever you feel like adding, and making it so the player MUST follow the story, otherwise they get nowhere :smile.gif:
With your permission would I be aloud to do that? (I'm only thinking about it for now, but if I decide I would like to, than I can just pop this into MCEdit and get a schematic and put that in AC and than just change a few things and script all the necessary things)
I would of course point people here and tell them of you creating the map etc.

Thanks for the message. Sure, you can use it in AdventureCraft. All we ask is that we are given the proper credit for creating the map. Thanks. If you do videos, I'd love to check them out as well.

Well ive played alot of the story, and visited a majority of the locations.
Overall it was great, the shape of the map is very well done.
Size is good/bad (good that its a pretty good size for playing it, could have been a bit bigger, but of course too big makes things complicated to find..)
There are many MANY cave systems left open and exposed, I understand that its an island etc, but I would have blocked them off. Lots of terrain problems (mountains full of missing blocks) a fair few spots that you can fall into and not able to get out..
All the structures were done reasonably well, More detail would have been nice.
The map almost seems you found out a way to get the island done quickly, and than you just threw the structures together in a simple quick way.
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it, Just I'm a HUGE fan of lost, than I finally found this and was like "OMG" than coz i'm such a fan (and a person who pays LOTS of attention to detail)
To all people thinking of playing it - Deffo get it! Its great, and hell if you don't want to do the story, finding all the structures is great fun!
Also another side note - I know you tried to keep the story close to Lost, but 1 - The radio tower should have been written in (though I do like how finding Rouseaus camp was written in) 2 - A few things (such as having to go back and forth) should have been cut down/out.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate the criticism, both good and bad. We're happy that people are continuing the enjoy the map. We hope they will continue to enjoy the map when Minecraft leaves beta.
Hey, I'd been following this map a few weeks before it was finished and I got it the day it came out. I'm a huge fan of the show and I love this map so much! I just recently got an idea for this map. I was thinking (with of course your permission) that I could take a few mods and use them to make the map more "real" and like the show than it can be in normal minecraft. Don't get me wrong, I think you guys made the best lost map possible! I just think it would be really cool to add in things from the show that you can't in normal minecraft. Such as guns and a pipe system to take books from the pearl to the drop area. Let me know if you think stuff like this would ruin the feel of the map, but if not I would love to try and do it! And I would, of course, give you guys proper credit
No, you don't have to have watched the show. We created two storylines that players can follow. However, it will be better if you have seen the show.
how ok download this map
Jack actually starts out in the forest/trees. The show opens with a close up on his eye opening and he sees the sky/tree line.

Its unofficial and stuff but I really think the map deserves to win it!
Then you've done something wrong
Wow! Thanks.
