When I first start the map it just spawns me next to a tree and everything around me looks like I just spawned into a regular Minecraft world, and yes, I am using adventurecraft, and I dragged the map into the maps folder.

open the folder up and take out the folder that says something like loz shadow gate and put that in the map folder
Hey everyone, I've added a banner to help spread the word and so you can show off you support by including it in your signature (if you desire). Here is what you need to copy into your signature box if you would like to have it!
No problem! I expect to release the next revision within the next hour though, so you may encounter a bug or two.
finally recording this time haha I am also going to record my voice which will be the first time i have ever done that haha but I feel like i need to just to talk about the map and how much work you put into it
v.01.3 is out now here. This features bug fixes, sound additions, and added polish. Directions have been added as signs (until I can get an overworld minimap working). A minimap for dungeons is also available. Drops have been fixed. Some levers still may need to be toggled twice to trigger a cutscene, so please do this if you get stuck.

just finished playing through and I dont think there is a problem with the switches
I have posted a walkthrough (text based) on the wiki. Please check this page if you think your stuck because the map is broken, because it isn't broken. Also, I tried to record a walkthrough last night, but xsplit wasn't cooperating with me. So if anyone else wants to do one, go ahead! Please note that there are two people who will have their lets play videos at the top of the OP, and the rest will be listed after.
Quoted by me:
Anyway, I saw the earlier post about copyright. If you want me to, I can help you create some skins for your use. I like the idea of a Fallout map, but trying to get items like the Hookshot and Boomerang in would be a pain. It would fit into Oblivion, as magic, on the other hand. Doom, would be a great idea, as there's currently only one map out and that doesn't work. So, carry on ACing!

Right, great! New version being tested...
This is the last update before Inglip and Ilios Field will be added. Also, I've been adding new NPCs but some customized personal ones would be awesome! I can list off a few things that I think I would need for the map. I'll be sure to credit you in the OP (I'm editing it to add in seagoingmanatee's contributions, and yours now too if you get more).
Castle Guards - Normal castle and castle town guards.
Castle Elite Guards - castle guards, protecting the highest levels of the castle.
Various townspeople (4-5 male and female that are poor looking, 4-5 that are middle class, and 4-5 that are upper class)
Gorons, but more than one kind. Probably would need 3-4 different ones, with one that looks like a leader.
Zora, but more than one kind. Probably would need 4-6 different ones (2-3 males and females), with one that looks like a leader.
Monsters from OoT and MM. I have a few and the sound assets for these, but don't have enough enemy mob skins. I can link some images if you need me to be much more specific.
Southern Shores villagers. These villagers would look like they live in the south. I don't know how else to describe this, but mainly they should look different from the townspeople.
Ikana Valley villagers. These villagers would have a darker, more eerie and slightly creepy look to them. They live in a haunted area, after all.
Snow villagers, or villagers that live in the Ferow highlands. Eskimos maybe?
You can look at the OP to get a feel for what you think would be cool to add. Also, with this latest revision you will notice one of the custom player houses (seagoingmanatee's). Since you are getting a shop, I can take some screenshots of what I've been working on :smile.gif:
EDIT: NOOOOO BANDWIDTH HAS BEEN EXCEEDED! AHHHHH!
This sucks. I guess the good news is that my page has gotten popular enough in such a short amount of time that I need a pro account. Unfortunately this costs money, but I think I can deal with a $40 payment to keep the images up.
EDIT 2: Upgraded to montly pro account. My images should come back up within an hour or so.
After playing you map for ten minutes I can see that you have truly taen alot of time and effort to make this map. It is beautifully made and the scripts work perfectly.
Unfortunatly I have one problem.
The reason that I only played your map for 10 minutes was the awful textures.
They hurt my eyes after about 8 minutes of play time forcing me to stop.
(HD textures are fine its just the photo realisum ones)
Without wanting to offend anyone, would there be a posibility you could release a non-photorealisum texture map.
Once again congratualtions on making a zelda adventure map that is new and inovative.
(also not copying gary520's textures and puzzles like most map developers seem to do :sad.gif:

yes this will be possible. Would you like vanilla textures, or just ones scaled down to x16 size?
Most textures and sprites have been ripped from OoT and MM. I could release a seperate, smaller texture size version. This will take some work, but if scaling the textures down is all that is needed it should be a pretty simple fix.
Thanks for your feedback! I'll see what I can do about those textures.

Thankyou so much.
I have been trying to figure out how some of your scripts work.
I want to learn how to make some of my own.
Ive only edited some from the wiki so far.
I love how your money overlay thing works and how money is automaticly sorted into inventory slots.
Right, will start working on the soldier skins right now, will upload them in a min.
Edit: I might need the flag symbol. Will the kingdom have a paticular symbol, or could I make one?

I haven't made one yet. I could probably make one, but feel free to make your own! I haven't even started on the castle yet and was planning on sketching out a few things when I got to that point.
Since your making some NPCs though it may be better for you to make one in order to avoid having to do more work.

The funny thing is that without some very important people in the IRC channel, none of these would be included in a release this early. Some scripts aren't quite in full working condition, but I have been making sure that the scripts that are necessary for the current release of the map are in full working condition.
Some of the scripts have been broken while updating AdventureCraft. Please be sure to thank seagoingmanatee for a bunch of the scripts, as he has added more than a few things (the rupee counter on your display, the template for forcing slots, deku sticks, etc.). He has been awesome, and has been making a lot of the cool little things that you have noticed possible. The goal is to be THE Zelda map to play. There are plenty of Zelda maps out right now, but I have aimed to provide the best experience possible. I've made my contributions, which include the world/dungeons/story/theme/graphic art/terrain/sprites/quests/etc., and now others are offering their talents to help with the development of the map.
Thanks everyone for the support, and be sure to also thank seagoingmanatee, CyborgDragon, Oozebull, Arkia, kenmario, and a few others for their contributions, which include scripting, ideas, and soon to be NPCs!
open the folder up and take out the folder that says something like loz shadow gate and put that in the map folder
Have you tried this yet xBerzerker? This usually only happens when the folder with the map is empty, but still has a folder name.
Look at my sig if you wanna see it :smile.gif:

Yes, you can make a symbol!

I made the basic knights wear chainmail, and the royal knights have shiny, gold armor! :biggrin.gif:
