Ok... don't worry. If you can plant trees it would be great. Just place them everywhere and the randomness will make them beautiful! (unless you are not using any inventory editor, in this case leave it to me, or other player)
:smile.gif: PS: I have plans to update the screenshots in the OP very soon. Stay tuned.
ok but the one thing i cant do with spc if remove all the snow very quilkly. do you know how to do that? it just started snowing and now everything is covered woth snow and its annoying
I'd like to remember people taking the save, that you don't need to copy reality. Only inspire yourself in it, if you want to.
Minehattan is not a pass-it-on to build a realistic city, but to build a modern city in minecraft, where people could theoretically live and work, while maintaining certain connection with reality.
So If there's one specific REAL building that you want to construct in Minehattan, feel free to do so. But remember to insert your own creative aspects to it!!
Oops...I think I'm guilty for that :mellow.gif:
But if I get the save again I'll probably make my own buildings, I just ported everything from my realistic 'minehattan' last time :smile.gif:

Using MCEDit you can take out the snow, there's a 'layer' of snow that you can delete.
Returned
changlog:
just added a park with a soccer field, baseball field, chess area, bleachers and a handball court.
i ask you please to get rid of the snow, i dont have mcedit and dont want to start learning.

Sorry :sad.gif:... just said that because the WTC complex look a little desert and ghostly... If you add some furniture and lights in their levels it will certainly help... make it feel like someone works there. (I know you didnt have time to do that though)
They are great for Minehattan!!

Just checked your park here, it looks very nice!!! :biggrin.gif:
The only problem is that the place where you build is a snow biome, which means that from time to time snow will fall and cover whatever it can.
There are three options:
1- leave the park there or move to another location where does not snow (not good)
2- put a glass roof on top of it all (not good)
3- put torches every 4 blocks from each other in open areas (like the baseball field) and trees in the rest of the space (pretty good).
if i get it back im sure to do option #3. also, im gonna build a bar next time. I have an idea if u wanna do that l4d type thing. after we compltly max out the city, we start building little villages and other lets play things and make it its own world!
well for a table you can have a wooden half step over a fence pole. for chairs you can have a stair with 2 signs on the sides. i dont have a guide for those things but just ask me about a certain peice and ill try to help you

Well, I didnt understand your idea.. what do you mean?
PS: I don't know if its possible to max out, since wherever there is space people can build, and the world is infinite. Maybe it will end when the file became so heavy that only a bunch of people with supercomputers will be capable of opening it. Or if in the future we decide that the city is large enough.
Does anyone have a good guide that shows how to make good furniture? I'm not that great at these small things.
Thanks in advance
My advice is to take a look at the Diner, or some of the apartments in the save. They have plenty of furniture.
That tall wooden building and the small apartment with brick walls are filled with everything you would need.
Now I must go.
Cya!
well wat my idea was after we finish the city(eventualy their will be almost nothing else to build) then we move a little bit from that area and start building something different. and u once said something about l4d server theme and if we expand like so, it will be more exciting.

Oh I see... like a country side (rural area)!!
Yes it would be really exciting!
A city is incomplete without its country side! Farms and small shops and gas stations in the middle of the road.
But right now I guess I'll expand the subway in the city. It's starting to became too time-consuming to walk all the way. I guess a "Church station" and a "WTC station" both connected to the Ark station would fit just fine.
