Title works on multiple levels. A unique story idea that sneaks up on you through a number of related threads. I really like the way that the map maker wove their previous map into this one - very original idea. (I would recommend playing "Stolen Fortune" FIRST for the full impact).
Visual detail is a little uneven - very nice in some spots, but several bare areas. But by the end it's not a concern.
Consistently, visually stunning map. Excellent progression (restocking of gear) and the individual 'zones' are extremely well laid out. The author added a nice multiplayer mechanic with the 'class' system.
I really want to call this a 'perfect score', however the difficulty may mean you don't get to see it all, and the storyline is pretty straight forward/linear with no narration/dialogue to keep you 'in character'.
TENATIVE Map Total Rating (out of 20): 14 and I expect it to go up with full release.
I don't usually publish a rating until I finish a map, but I'm stuck and running out of playtime tonight.
Map is still work in progress, but very promising. Clever ideas. Looks very nice. Storyline is a little loose, but humorous and fun references. I'm only through something like 1/3 of the part that is released and I definitely intend to finish it once it's fully released.
Bumped the score up quite a bit while playing Chapter 2 (of 5!).
This is gorgeous. And enormous.
The open world style works on this map. Exploring works. And after an hour or two you remember why you were exploring.
The notes are varied in their voice and content/structure.
I still think there needs to be more arrows and torches available. And there are some spots that are much harder bottlenecks. But otherwise, the progression is very nice.
Played with the recommended texture pack, this is a LOVELY map. Good detail/decor. The story was a little weak - no story to read along the way, and the ending was a little abrupt. The difficulty factor is in figuring out what the levers do with the custom texture pack. If you can't see what's being powered up, it's hard to find when something changed. And as far as progression, since there are no story arcs, it falls to armor. I had none, and no weapons. Then I found leather, and in the same building diamond (which made the leather useless).
Gorgeous map and texture pack. Simple puzzles, yet very clever "triggers" - several I hadn't seen before! The open world feel doesn't NEED a story, but I'm a bit of a stickler for one and the map maker could easily have added some side quests.
AWESOME map. The texture pack and realism is great. Short map (20 min on peaceful). No real story, it's basically a series of escape puzzles with a unique setting. Very clever. Very much enjoyed the map.
