So, I was sittin' there playin' some Minecraft one day and was all "Hey... y'know game could use more Resident Evil. But that was back in creative.
Here's what my creative build looked like:
(it isn't letting me embed it for some reason. I may be retarded and don't know how)
Then I was like "Well... it's pretty nice... FOR CREATIVE!". So I decided (since Alpha at the time finally had much more blocks) to RECREATE the mansion!
but I didn't stop there my friends... No... I decided to go a step further this time since I was not constricted by space (and crappy builds). I decided to create the whole map from Resident Evil 1.
I've always been worried someone had already done it, but most projects thankfully people either gave up on or did a very poor job on (/cocky)
But after many months and many blocks, I have finally finished to a level where I'm actually satisfied with it. AND I COME HERE TODAY/EVENING/TONIGHT/MORNING TO SHARE IT WITH YOU!
Here's a video of what it looks like now:
Too lazy to click the link?
Here's some pictures!
I'm sure at least maybe... SOME of you are saying "Hey, that's some pretty cool ****! I'd like to have it for myself so I can blow it up or nostalgia it up in this *****!" Well you are in luck, because I have it here for download! However, I have something I must say:
YOU NEED THE TEXTURE PACK I USED!
It is also for download right down below.
Pretty cool man, just wondering if there are any enemies in it? Monster spawner, etc. before I download it, otherwise I will have to add'em myself! :biggrin.gif: Good job none the less!

A near 1:1 remake.
Well done! Thanks for sharing this! Very nice work. Impossible to get lost here, even in a Minecraft version.
I know the place all too well!
I feel the need to expand on the map and add the Gamecube stuff into this.
Everything is spaced perfectly. The woods and Lisa's cabin are calling me.
I really love this map. I was working on a RE map around the same time that you must've first released this. I just found your map through Google and yours is even closer to accurate than mine is. You did an awesome job. I'm downloading your map and putting this place right where I was going to put mine, even though I had mine near complete except for adding in the details. Just a really great job getting the accuracy in there.
Waffools. I would like to turn this map into an adventure map. Close to what the original playstation game was. Perhaps even use SDK's gun mod in the map.
I've been playing the resident evil series since the 90's, and have always been a fan. I was working on the spencer estate when I came across this thread. The map is amazing, and i would love to turn it into an adventure map.
Of course I will give you full credit for creating the map.
I'm sure if it's an adventure map, you will get more publicity as well.
Send me a message or just reply to this telling me what you think.
If you have any ideas/suggestions/questions, just hit me up.
Thanks.
OMG Thanks dude! It's like perfect! I went through re1 trying to do this too but I was like "I'm done" after scaling the first hall perfectly. THANKS A TON!
I just decided to migrate my account from the old forum.
Thanks for the comments fellas, they mean a lot. Because I spent quite a bit of time on this map. Making sure it was all to scale and keeping the lighting effective enough to create that mood of the first game (I also just plopped torches where lights were in the game), trying to cram in all that detail with these big ol' blocks... The whole thing was built by hand... I uhh... even... terraformed the land myself (the most boring thing I've ever done...) and I did it to ensure quality!
I do wish I could improve upon some areas since updates have been coming out with new blocks since I finished... I even had to replace all the wool in the map with new colors (I had originally colored wool to be red for the carpet and turned sponges into a bathtub like texture). I would mostly go back and touch upon this map myself if I was able to have two toned walls... like a whole smaller block deal goin' on. There's an mod for that yes, but it's not quite stable enough yet I believe.
BUT ENOUGH OF THAT BORING STUFF!
I think I should at this point let you guys know, that: YES it is okay to use my map for any AdventureCraft maps you want to create. HOWEVER! you I do ask that you give credit to your good pal Waffools (Mr_Waff1es in game) for creation of the map. Also it is fine to update the map to your liking with the new blocks and reupload it but the same rules do apply (also don't tear down my hidden sign >:C )
What ever maps you guys make in AdventureCraft I can't wait to see! So if you do decide to make one, just remember what I've said and have fun with it!
Are you going to put in stone bricks and/or iron bars now that 1.8 has been released? I'm not exactly sure where they would go, but I just thought I'd ask anyway.
I wonder, would it be possible to remake it in three layers, one layer is the outer wall, the second is TNT, then the inner layer is the inner walls, then use enough redstone repeaters after hitting the button in the room where that big machine is that gives you five minutes to get out before the whole thing explodes?
that would be kinda cool.
also, the basement of the mansion and the second snake fight room don't line up like they should in the game, which i found kinda disappointing, but i guess there were reasons you couldn't do it like that.
Hey I'm new to downloading and adding stuff to Minecraft and I need some help. I got the texture pack all down but how to add the map itself to Minecraft? Can you or anybody please give me the step by little steps on how to do it and what I need to do it? Please email me at [email protected]
i shall make this into a....ADVENTURECRAFT MAP!!
With camera perspective!
if you want, i will keep you updated, email me at [email protected]
all to say for now, see ya later

Have a nice day fellas!
Nah, I'm sorry there's no monsters here.
And thanks for the feedback guys.
I made one a few months a go but someone set fire to it (thank's to SMP) but yours is way much detailled than mine!
Good job!
