And now for real what to fix:
-Stone is giving light in mines
-Ores are one-cube (little coal and iron becouse of it)
-Fix oceans and lakes bottom
-Bugs like cactus on lakes, grass, sugar cane on buttom of sea (near Gdańsk, Poland)
-Give some sugar canes :wink.gif:
-Some sings will be the best idea for orientation :wink.gif:
-Caves!
-Beachs!
-Lighting was not calculated, I'll have to check that out.
-It was the easiest way to implement ores at the last minute. The frequency is the same but they are spread out. Will be changed in the next update.
-Done.
-Cacti are almost fixed.
-Under the ocean (as seaweed).
-We want to put some signs in the next update.
-Working on it.
-The ocean does not drop off with the next update.
Could you also create the Great Salt Lake and place written signs as markers depicting where each major city is?

First of all, HOW THE **** DID YOU MAKE THIS!
I passed out for a couple seconds just form looking at the picture, but when I played the map, I was disappointed. I want to build life size everything, something you can't do when the world is 2000 times too small. Secondly, I visited Italy, Britain, and America, but didn't see distinguishable rivers like the Po, Thames, and Mississippi. Also, from looking at the image, places that clearly have snow almost year-round, like northern Russia, mountain peaks, Alaska, and northern Canada are as grassy and fertile as Africa.
Other than those few problems, I really, really, like this.
Hey! You know what, I should bang you with Lenin's arm for insulting me. (Yeah, he's still in his physical form... at least I think. Don't correct me.)
Glad to know that you actually know that Lenin is still chillin' out in his mausoleum in Red Square.

Sorry for "insulting" you; ignorance annoys me.
Well, I have always enjoyed a good battle of wits. Good job. (offers hand for handshake)
Also, have you noticed that this map doesn't contain the Great Salt Lake?

On individual countries, lakes, rivers, etc: We won't go in and fix every single small discrepancy to the actual planet. Its not practical to do.

Ok, after 'playing' it a bit, I decided to say it needs improvement.
1. Just look at water, lakes or anything, they go so deep down and are straight from there. 2. You need to add beaches, while the 'shape' of my country was somewhat correct, the biome was not, there also was 0 sand in my country which is bs. 3. The trees, they are the same normal trees, you know there are different trees and shapes; you should add that. 4. Biomes.. yeah - fix that please, I saw a Rainforest biome in europe, but not in Africa. lol.
1. Those have been fixed and will be included next release.
2. There are not biomes. Terrain was generated from a satellite image.
3. Actually I made these trees myself to keep the wood amount high and easily accessible from the ground. I'm not sure well add different styles.
4. There are no biomes.
It doesnt show up on minecraft. I downloaded it, unzipped it, it doesnt show up in the worlds. I used your dropbox and not mediafire, I'll try that i guess.
First, Where's the Grand Canyon on this map? I can't find it, and if I did, I might have not regarded it as grand.
Second, will you come out with a mod providing faster boats and trains? I'll need them if I want to sail across the Atlantic.
Third, is there a mod that treats Minecraft maps as if they were cylindrical instead of flat? If I want to explore the South Pacific, I don't want to cross the entire planet to do so.
Fourth, will you have the specified city tracker signs that show locations of major cities all over the world? I would like them to have writing specifying the name of the city and the country, and I plan to re-download the map by April 5, so that will have to be your deadline.
Fifth, will you have the time to lay national borders made of cobblestone and state borders made of wooden planks? We would like that.
Sixth (for anyone reading this), did you realize that you have lost The Game?
Thanks,

Thats pretty bonerific, but when it comes down to it, its too big, there is no point in SSP, maybe in SMP with teleporters, but thats a very serious maybe. Too big.

It's an awesome job you did, though. Good work.
I would think so, since the generator for MC Beta can create an infinitely-big map.
It's 3GB

How exactly did you make this?
WHERE DO WE SPAWN?
I'm going to have to get a map of the world by my side, using the surroundings to determine what country I'm in.

It isn't; it's about 1 : 4350, but it's still good enough to conjure awe without crashing your computer.
