For everyone who's interested, the Main Page is back up to date and has a link to the most recent 5.2 Beta version.
We're currently working on an updated 1.8 version of the map for release soon, but for now, you should have everything you need to enjoy the map as it is.
Great work on the main page, really feels like you are working again after the tough time you had earlier in the year. If the updated 1.8 version includes commands I'm able to help when you or Spookyhappyfun can't figure out the problem. Other then that I'm glad you are back and hopefully everything is alright.

I've been working around the Kulmia Bay area for a while, so I keep seeing East-West Channel a lot. It's one of the old Minervan legacy builds that's just a small channel that allows passage from Fenris to Tyr by boat without having to go all the way around Sinklar to get there. Unfortunately, the area can't been correct since Mojang changed the cardinal directions all those years ago, and that's always bothered me.
So this morning I took a little time out to spruce up the area and have it better reflect both its new swampy location and position with regard to the poles.
Five new locations created by Nyvarld creator and more recently and most helpfully Minerva Project Coordinator, SpookyHappyFun, with new side adventures in development! Spooky has already been tremendously helpful in getting the ball rolling on this next release, with several new team members onboard that we hope to be working with shortly, including an artist who will be contributing some distinctive flavor to the world of Criswelvania which I am very excited about... but wait, that's a secret!
I also want to thank again you long-time regulars whose suggestions, critiques, enthusiasm and individual creativity keep this world alive and a going concern -- Minnan1, tokeitime, Owl_Exterminator, Deep_Pixel, Flame and many others, I greatly appreciate your input and participation, some of you are missed. I have not always been the greatest communicator or steadfast fixture in the community, but I hope you will enjoy what is to come and return for more adventures!
Every week this juggernaut gets a little more steam. Welcome onboard Osiris to the building team, I really look forward to your contribution to the Minerva/Criswelvania adventure project. Thanks to you and again Minnan for your time today! This team so far -- a monstrous Halloween resurrection? I think it could happen!
Anyone interested and capable to work on an X360 Criswelvania port?
Also welcome Lucky who will be our command block specialist, putting together a scoreboard/team/objective system for quest tracking, optional immunity to friendly fire, and other features. Really looking forward to seeing what a properly implemented scoreboard can add to the map! Can Vs. mode get a proper treatment?
BTW is anyone really kickass at designing Minecraft banners? Character emblems on shields and custom armor? Yes thanks.
Meanwhile, across Minerva on the island of Sinklar, the little Town of Garlis is growing into a bustling little village thanks to the soup factory in town.
The area around the village is filled with caves that are ideal for growing and cultivating mushrooms, but the giant mushrooms found in the caves deep beneath the factory are what gives Garlis Soup its distinctive flavor.
Minerva Development Team demos today were amazing, I have to gush a little bit. Very impressed at how well these builds mesh with the world of Minerva, with new characters, backstory, quests, and tongue-in-cheek humor that feels completely consistent with everything else. Great work guys!
We are working steadily toward our next release, stay tuned.
The new release is imminent. We'll be working later this week to begin the final preparations.
And in the midst of that, I just can't stop building. One thing I always wished Criswelvania had was a Simon's Quest-style town. Well, it's happening now to the north of Bathory as part of a brand new questline. Welcome to Jova!
I'm having map issues in 1.5.2. What's the latest compatible version for this map?
1.5.2 is the current most recent version, however, we're about 2 weeks away from a 1.8.8 release (or 1.9 if Mojang beat us to release). Just bear with us a little longer and you're be pleasantly rewarded!

Alright, so I'm back online for reals after all this time. Assemble and attack!
My whip is ready.

I'm enjoying this much better.
I kinda can't believe sometimes how much of a life this map has beyond my own imagining. Thanks everybody, for keeping it alive.
Love this thread, and everyone on it <3
Good vibes all

The restless dead are stirring again deep in the heart of the castle. A resurrection is coming. Prepare yourselves.
