DISCLAIMER FROM THE MODS - Vechs is currently on a break from mapmaking and does not currently check this thread, nor have plans to make or update maps at this time. It would be hugely appreciated to take any comments about requests for his maps to his Youtube channel, Vechz, as that would be the best way to actually be seen by him! Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Disclaimer added. Obvious it can and will be removed if/when he returns.
Hope that helps, and that Vechs won't mind in the end.
It might be worth it adding that Vechs doesn't read YouTube PMs, so people know not to try that because it'd be futile. Twitter is probably the best option for anyone hoping for their message to be read...

Yeah, but it directs people to his channel effectively, and stops spam-esque posts over here, so it might work. I'll give it a few days and monitor it all as well.

I like the emphasis on the word might. Hopefully it all goes well for this thread.

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
Honestly it's better than I remember. It's a shame everyone poo-pooed it so early, as it's actually a lot of fun. Sure, the dungeons are boring and the world seems uninspired, but it still has Vexy flare.
It's funny how it just came and went. Forgotten.
Oh well, I hope Vechs makes a new map at some point. Really it could be another mini map and I'd be stoked.
Hybran told me once, but I forget what it was... I think it was either 15 40something, or 14 50something, but either way, this is the fastest run recorded, which means it's the fastest run officially (unless Hybran has some kind of proof)

I have been inspired to create CTM maps like you (yes, I know, you made the genre). I finished my first one. It's called CTM Collection The Lost Regions by, emperor_sto

I'm trying to play legendary 3.1, but a lot of the chests are empty. At first I thought that was just how the map was, but after watching some LPs it appears that isn't the case. I'm playing on 1.7.4. What version should I be using for the 3.1 version to work correctly?

I'd prefer Black Desert 2 if it had wool in chests and if it had intersections (because I like CTM maps with intersections, and mobs wearing wool on their heads is less interesting than wool in chests)
I didn't think that saying that I don't really like the fleecy mobs would mean that I would hate the map. I just think that fleecy boxes are a bit more easy way of getting wool and fleecy mobs would be like trapped chests since they could kill you and make it hard to get the wool. I don't even know if this may be true, but maybe Vechs scrapped BDII because of the fleecy mobs or something else about the map. Again, I don't really know...
Umm... the fleecy mobs are the only thing he fished out of that burning wreckage. No one liked the map because of the aesthetic repetition and the mob grinding required to get materials. He liked the concept of Fleecy Mobs and implemented them into IM. There are 3 fleecy mobs in Inferno Mines. So in other words, Fleecy Mobs are the only thing he liked about BDII, not the reason he scrapped the map.

My point is, if you like linear-branching maps with fleecy boxes instead of fleecy mobs, BDII isn't for you.
And I believe he scrapped it because of something like "it left a bad taste in my mouth". I can't remember the exact words but it was along those lines.
Special thanks to Axl Rosie for the sig.
I love you.

And Comic Sans because why not?

Comic Sans suck, no exceptions.

Proof that barely anyone reads the OP nowadays.
That's the point. Also, I could think of one exception: if it were in a comic book.
You loaded world in snapshot and then in 1.7.4.
Translation: I don't like BDII.

Honestly my second favourite speedrun ever.
