I don't like to think of myself as dim-witted, although for the life of me I can't find the Orc's entrance. I literally have spent over 45 minutes trying to find it, even going off your hint of "to the left of the mansion from the front". I STILL can't find it. There's the 3 or 4 obvious holes right next to the mansion, but nothing else. I feel like I've searched EVERYWHERE.
Are you supposed to go to another island/into a dungeon? The furthest hole has tunnels that go quite a long ways down, but it didn't seem like you were supposed to go there.
Unfortunately i mined a block i had never seen before im guessing it was a pure diamond block? anyway yeah, mined it i heard the sound of tnt and before i knew it the room had exploded and filled with lava! oh btw, loved the zelda music when i found a 'secret' room =)

Keep searching, there are ladders near the holes. Also if you wait till night and go to the roof of the mansion, you should see some Lights/Torches on the mountains.

And wow the Yogscasters are have some pretty poor luck with the spawns! 4 creepers in the first room? wow.
FINISHED!!! wow that was a simple and yet exciting Adventure! LOL I'm hoping to see the Yogscast reaction to the game. I hoping to see more of your episode. I Felt like Indiana Jones xD
Awesome map, you really should make more of them if you've got the time. I didn't get how the room with the levers worked, is it like a pattern because it does not look like it? Yes i took a look at the redstone circuit because i couldn't find the solution.
Also with the diamond block, i just took it and ran of to the way i came from, i just managed to run througt it before the lava hit me. Didn't even notice another way out. It was mainly that i had a leftover note that i went searching on peaceful for the right way.
But those little things didn't spoil my play.
Looking forward to a sequel!
Check out the first room in the pyramid, you should see a clue to that switch puzzle...
Just finished it, cool map, but I expected a trick with the diamond. What I did NOT expect, however, was, well, to avoid spoilers, what came afterwards. My only thought was, " Why did this room light up all of the sudden?" XD
I found all the hidden chests except for the diamond pants. I don't know if I'll go back and comb the level over for them. If I DO go back, it will be to repair Grizwald Manor (what happened to the good professor, anyhow?) and to mount that diamond block over a brand-new fireplace.
My only complaint is that, after Grizwald Manor, the buildings weren't that impressive. (Though your use of redstone WAS, somewhat.) I'm hoping that if this map gets a sequel that we'll get some epic ruins to wander through, and maybe a whole lot more excavation.

Made a video tutorial of how I did the Zelda music on the map. Hope you guys find it usefull.
(Also, I'm not a redstone guru or anything. I know for a fact there are better ways of doing this. I just wanted to keep the redstone as basic as possible so everyone could understand.)
i got lost when i got the map to the pyramid i followed the trail south eat like the map said turning where it said to and didnt find anything but a dead end hole in the ground. past said hole was a forest not even on the map
^^ Did you find the 2nd dock? The Yogscasters messed up at the end of that last video...they were supposed to go deeper into the orc mine and then find the Tomb. When you get to the tomb you'll take a ladder up and you'll be at a 2nd dock, different from the one you started at. The map you get in note 5 corresponds to the 2nd dock, not the 1st.
