This looks awesome but i cant open any of the files, couldi get the name of the program needed?
The second sentence in my main post has a link to it.
Where it says "Use MCedit to import them into your world."
Just click on that. :smile.gif:
Edit : In specific, in the MCedit thread, be sure to read the part about using the crane tool (Import tool) as that is what you mainly need to put the schematics into your world.
I guess I should make the link to the MCedit thread stand out more...
Man it feels like forever since I updated, even though it's just been a few days. All my time has been spent working on a new dungeon... and playing World of Tanks, and experimenting with the new stuff in Beta 1.2. Oh and there may have been some Team Fortress 2 at one point... Anyway!
Updating the pack to 006.
This version includes:
- Infern Island has been split from the pack. It now has it's own download link. The pack is about 150 KB, while Infern Island is almost 700 KB by itself.
- Added the Reed Farm.
- Added the Dispenser Arrow Turret (Fully Stocked)
- Added a new dungeon! The Temple of the Natural Order. It has signs in it to tell you the story of what happened at the temple, so I'm not going to say any more about it. Good luck :smile.gif:
I just have to say, spiders being able to climb walls makes them total bastards.
In the Temple of the Natural Order, one of the things to do in there is go through a maze. It was already bad enough turning a blind corner and seeing these little nuck fuggets :
But now spiders are crawling all around and jumping down from high up on the walls. It's crazy. (And nearly gave me a heart attack the 1st time it happened.)
The Monster Factory is awesome. Turn off sound, open your inventory so it won't stop when you go out of window, take a nap or otherwise, and you have all the monster resources you could ever want.
I have it going right now, in fact.

tursted thanks.
cant we send in our buldings and stuff to you and you add dem to your pack
Sure, that would be fine, I'll create a folder entitled "Guest Submissions" or something like that in the pack, and put anything submitted to me in there. If you or your friend want to submit something, just post a reply in this thread with a link to a file sharing website (Mediafire works well).

The only place on my world eligible for spawns was your trap.
I filled several store rooms with drops.
Awesome, glad to hear it is working as intended :biggrin.gif:
This update includes my first schematic in the new section "Castles and Bases"
- Orne'Rondasse is an elven-style castle built out of grown trees! Ishnu'dal dien!
- The Storage Room has been updated to version 02. This version includes a workbench and the spelling error where all the T's in all the signs were capitalized should be fixed. (I did not make them capital T's originally, the game just decided to make them capitalized... weird huh?)
Added Vechs' Town Construction Kit
- A subfolder within the schematic pack that contains a huge selection of modular schematics you can use to quickly set up your own towns - great for SMP servers!
Cactus Wall Kit
- Now you can quickly set up a wall of spikey death! A good companion to the Town Construction Kit.
The schematics are not in the list when i try to import them into MCedit. how do i fix this?
I just tested it myself. Here's what I did:
1. I downloaded my schematic pack.
2. I used 7-zip to extract the ZIP file into a folder.
3. I launched MCedit.
4. I clicked import and then navigated the import browser to the folder I unzipped into.
5. I imported the schematic successfully.
So, they work for me. I recommend you unzip the files (extract them) into your MCedit schematics folder. This will be in your Documents folder.
For me, this is in:
C:\Users\Vechs\Documents\MCEdit-schematics
But for you it could be in a different location - it depends on what version of windows you have (or if you are using windows at all). All I have access to is my computer with Vista on it, so I can't really test how MCedit and it's files work on any other machine.
If you keep having problems, I would suggest asking Codewarrior for help, you can find his thread here:
I don't really know much about any of the file formats or modding minecraft in general but wouldn't it make it much easier for players to use these schematics if you also provided them in the struct-format for the InstaStructures mod? :smile.gif:

Well, that gets into modding territory, and I don't want people to have to have a specific mod to be able to use the things I make. And as far as easier to use, I took a look at that mod's thread, and creating structure templates for it seemed complicated. I'm not 100% sure, but it looked like you had to use MCedit to make a schematic, and then do stuff to convert that to work as a .struct file? So why not just use MCedit and not have to worry with using a 2nd mod on top of that?

Thanks :smile.gif:
I've been meaning to make some underwater stuff for awhile now. I guess that should be the next thing I work on!
