Love your world, however, I could like to make a few comments o:
Some of your resources have only one in the stack. (Wood for example.)
And I noticed you don't have plain Stone in any chests.
But other than that, thanks for this.
Nice, I've wanted a map like this for a while. I have some suggestions though.
-The base should be made of obsidian to protect from explosions.
-The protrusion outside is larger than it needs to be. I'd make a ladder going from the storage room up to a button in front of a single steel door. That way the protrusion would be 3x4x3.
-The spawn point should be inside the base rather than outside.
-There should be stationary water (ID 9) and stationary lava (ID 11) in chests. It's different from normal water and lava in that it does not flow once placed until an adjacent block is changed. That's how I got a lava roof in my obstacle course.
-Fill up the empty spaces in the chests with duplicate items. Sometimes when placing blocks using stacks above 64 the game will glitch and you'll lose the whole stack.
-It would be nice if the chests had signs to label them.
-Change the arrow stacks to 64. When the stacks are above 64 and you try to shoot them they glitch out and the whole stack disappears.
-Lava should be replaced with lightstone for safety reasons.
I almost want to make my own version :tongue.gif:.
I just made a huge revision. Tell me what you think.
Also I added tools, armor, stationary water and stationary lava. And the two jukeboxes have a different record in each.

Well, if Tnt goes off it completely wrecks the chests and all the items inside too(trust me I tested this before) so Obsidian wouldn't do much. But it would look cool.
I tried placing the spawn point inside the base but had a few problems doing it, even though it was placed inside I kept spawning on the surface.
I did a 2 wide entry way just to give you more space and give a bit of symmetry. I thought of adding iron doors but placing proper wiring to make them both open at the same time would require more room. As for stairs vs ladders? ladders are just slow and slightly frustating. besides if you build far away enough from the bunker then it shouldn't be a problem.
Sadly I don't know how to add "still" lava and water, if you tell me how i'll add it into the next update.
As for duplicate stacks? I should have more than enough of each stack to make sure that shouldn't be a huge problem. If I get enough complaints I can always change it later. Be sure to keep giving feed back.
I plan on adding lables and such but I still need to figure out -how- to organize the chests better, if you want to help or suggest how I'd be really grateful.
Hmm, good point about the arrows, may have to add an "Arrow Room" just so I can place a lot of stacks of arrows.
Lastly, another good point with the lava, i'll figure something else out but it was mostly just for looks. Since it seems to be a bit of a problem though I'll get rid of it.

Hmm actually looking at your version and testing it out I have to say alot of those changes are good idea's. Though I have to say I -really- wish you would of just given me time to update it on my own.
The only way I've found to edit in stationary lava and water is through MCedit by importing a chest containing it. The schematic is called 'Creative in a box' and is included in the installation.
found something!
cake is not set to 255
could you update?
yeah I realized that while playing in my own test world, I already fixed it, I'm just waiting till I have more to update so I don't have to update every tiny change.

Really? huh. I still can't figure out how to use MCedit well. I used it for a few things but I mostly used NBT forge
Anyway I solved the problem, I just took the stacks you put in your world, copied them in INVedit and made a few stacks in my world.
Also I think I am going to add alot of your changes to my map. Thanks for the ideas. The glowstone really does look nice in with the obsidian.

Actually the obsidian does protect the chests. I just tested it with my version, putting a bunch of TNT around the base.

Hmm really? might of changed since I last tested it(before beta) Well, thanks to you i'm doing a major change. I just finished(god...a few hours of work) and I think you'll be pleased with a few changes.
Updated, the links should take you to the new version. Tell me what you think and how it can be improved. Also report any bugs or mistakes I might of made.
could you make a snow version of this?
i will be happy if you can!
Snow version? I could I suppose...But I added in snow blocks and the top layer of snow you can put on other blocks, so you should beable to make it as wintery as you want.
You know what would be cool? If you made a nether portal to a nether test world. That way you could experiment with pig zombies and ghasts.
I...Hmm i'm not sure how to do that but its not a bad idea. NBT forge is really old so I doubt it can do the nether, and mcedit is a bit too akward for precise work. Hmm besides I doubt there'd be much to it. Same as the surface one just without natural lighting.
Fixed and updated.

Building some structures on flatland to import to my main world.
This makes it easy. :biggrin.gif:
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, no one else has found or mentioned any bugs or problems.

I'll edit this post in a few.
EDIT: This is awesome!
The only thing I can think of you to add would be an underground minecart track.

tyken, i edited your starting base a lot mainly because design flaws that would come in impractical when using tnt or anything else.
firstly, cleared out your two other bases which are hidden behind the forges (hint hint guys)
secondly, refitted the base with obsidian walls and double iron door design using your redstone wiring from a previous tyken video
thirdly, cleared out the lava, not a fun thing to fall into when the glass breaks, and armor isnt always available
fourthy, just added some extra torches too lighten up the place
also, im the same andrew john whom comments regularly on your videos :tongue.gif:
dual commentary plz as well with your gf
and make a server AND invite me <3 thanks

Lightstone light only goes about 15 squares. Not the same as sunlight sadly.
Also great to have another sub!
