Hey there, just got done playing through the full game you made for Minecraft. I loved it! Was really fun and looking forward to your Adventurecraft one alot! Im currently testing it out right now and wanted to know where you wanted me to post exploits/bugs i have found, or if you want me to email you them.
Okay cool. Well one thing i found already is that your shop chests need to be moved one block back. If you jump and grab real quick you can actually open the chests and take things out at the moment, and the Hallway before the room with all the lava and the Levers you have to flip to get the door open has a block in the way preventing access.
This is what it looks like.

It keeps you from going any farther, and from getting the power glove.
Okay thankyou very much, the block has been removed, i think that one snuck in when I was fixing previous things, thanks for that.
Concering the shop, this will not be the final look. I pretty much built it while watching "V for Vendetta" and at the moment its more about the idea being present. Since the final release will have 5 Main parts and 4 mini dungeons you will need a lot more equipment to restock the broken stuff (correct me if I'm wrong but armour dose get damaged in Adenturecraft?) so the rooms will be bigger. Also I dont have enough space up there rightnow to move things back (nor the pactience, I'm on a roll building the next part)
Still a good point because you can do this with many chests ingame that when you go from the right angle can be opened when you shoudnt be able to reach them, I have to keep that in mind especialy in the sky level this will be a pain. Quite anoying making stuff exploit free xD
Yeah I bet, im not gonna lie, the area where the blocks spawn and you have to jump on them was a pain and i endedup having to jump and grab boxes haha. might make the water a little deeper cause of fall damage but thats just my opinion. Im just a faithful beta tester :tongue.gif:. Im playing through your zelda dungeon on SMP with my friend atm, but once im done i think im up for another round of testing for you.
Okay, so I found a few bugs that stick out to me while playing a complete play through of V2.
The first being the Jump of Doom:
Bug:
If you jump down from the top point of the room to the box shown in the picture, you are unable to get back to the floor alive due to not enough space on the blocks. The block only leaves 1 block of space open where no player can fit, forcing you to jump into the lava and die.
Secondly, the impassible glass block:
Bug:
After receiving the power glove and going back to the room with the glass in it, where you have to move the boxes to get back to the other side of the dungeon there is a block in your way. There is a block of glass that prevents you from going through and forces you to die yet again.
Lastly, The unopenable door:
The Door:
The wiring:
Not really much as a bug as not finished, I figured you probably knew this or maybe I am just missing something, so i thought i would tell you.
Well that is all I have found at the moment i will be sure to tell you if I find any more.
Wow great job :biggrin.gif: Thought I fixed the on in the glass room but it seem there were 2. The one witht he jump anoys me since I cant make it the way I would like due to space but oh well, ill rework most of this anyway :smile.gif:
The last is one that pisses me of to no end. The connection was made but at one point I filled an huge area with stone because i left the cursor there, man that was a lot of work fixing all the **** I turend to stone *shake fist in rage*
I went on a tour today and found no other bugs for the moment so thank you very much for your help :smile.gif:
No problem, really enjoying it. Btw, have you ever thought about making an adaptation of your Minecraft Zelda dungeon into a AdventureCraft dungeon? Like a ReVamp?
I havent thought about it to be honest and at first it seemed lika a bad idea but now that I think about it, it dosent seem like a bad idea. The main problem I see is that A) a lot of the mecanics are not suited for adventurecraft like the iron blocks and redstone stuff and :cool.gif: I cant think of much that would improve by using adventurecraft, maybe the bombs and the leap of faith but apart from adding monsters I dont see how to realy improve the dungeon.
I'll give it a look sometime but maybe I could remodel it slightly since I use map editors now and it shouldnt be that hard.
grrrr. Why does everyone have to winrar package things? >.< Why not zip it?! Windows already has zip on it.

Nice map, but for the AC version you'll need to reformat the shop somehow... i have a ton of useless gold blocks and nothing but basic equipment cause i can't place a bridge :/

Jeah you need to press F4 to place them. For the new release the shop will be gone since the mods creator said he will inculde a real shop system somewhere down the road. Until thats included I'll scrap the thing and when I'm being honest I only included the shop to pad the dungeon (Shame on me -.-) the new release will be very different and inculde a lot less jumping and not need the padding at all.

Eh, i found a little exploit where you could just jump near the wall and open the chest. I'm not a douche though so i threw out however many blocks it needed.
So what version should this be played on? Look at some of the vids shows that it uses that one ladder bit that's been fixed since one of the later updates. (Can't use ladders when they are spaced apart) This looks like a lot of fun, and I'd like to try it out, but not with the latest version unless this has been updated since.
Happy that you liked it so far :smile.gif:
EDIT: Small bug found in the final room where the door was not there
