For those of you having trouble with the redstone puzzles:
You shouldn't have to short circuit anything. There is usually a pretty simple solution but you may need to look 1 floor up from the door you need to open.
Also, in case I didn't make this clear enough, a lit wire at the end of one floor travels down to become a lit wire on the next floor.

Ok, I must admit this was awesomesauce. I completed the entire thing, and I
Even made it to the Nether! I found the other portal and REALLY beat the game! I like the real ending.
Also, for those of you who can't find it:
Look at the lava lakes. All of them. Including the one that is like this from the first portal. Forward Forward Forward, Right Right Right. You should see it. Also, I hope you kept that dirt form the water/lava room....

Room 4 (the one with the obsidian and cloth) is that little glass jut-out at the top a secret room? If it is, I suggest the use of sand instead of gravel, as I got too many flint to reach the glass.
EDIT:Just remembered, you can only break dirt so I'm guessing it's not meant to get too. Sorry for my stupidity :wink.gif:
Also, I suggest that you say lighting things on fire is ok at the the beginning.
Alright well I quit. I got stuck on the redstone puzzle and I didn't like it because I feel it wasnt described well enough. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to drop down a level or not on the first outside circuit because I saw all the redstone beneath me. I ended up wondering around on the outside of the building where are the circuits are for a bit but wasn't sure what to do so I just quit.
edit: nevermind I used invEdit to give myself some dirt blocks so I could get back up without starting over. I would recommend closing all of the openings in the first redstone room because the one is big enough for a doorway while the others are only one high. If you close up the doorway to only one high there will be less confusion
edit2: where the heck is room 8? The last redstone circuit door led right into the water elevator
edit3: woot finished it. I really liked the ending lol

You'll see those little observations decks in several rooms if you look hard enough. You'll get to them later on...

Use the damn spoiler brackets, you selfish pigs
I would have if I were actually spoiling anything ya noob. But alas, I wasn't.
Wow. Just finished both endings, way better than the first one. Love the portal references too, that was good cake.
SUGGESTIONS!
+Add a sign when you first walk through the nether portal. I thought you had accidentally placed the obsidian in perfect portal shape at first, until I saw the spoilers in this post.
+Put cake at the real ending.
I absolutely LOVE this though. I can't wait until #3.
ive failed! okay, so i got to room number 2 find everything on the floor and made all lava go away, then what. there whas obsidian... and... nothing.. what should i do, how to get out of there? plz help me =P
I loved it! I have a question though. Am I allowed to make a similar puzzle? (Only more of a Zelda dungeon with NO help?) I'd hate to steal your idea =P
Earlier today I downloaded and finished the first one. I even didn't have to cheat except for a little bit in the redstone puzzle. Eventually I guess I just kinda lucked through it. Overall I really liked the first one. :smile.gif:
Haven't really played around with redstone at all in general, so all this talk about gates and inverters and stuff like that just goes way over my head. It's probably also the reason I'm somehow gotten completely stuck in the zombie maze. I even had to switch to peaceful because the zombie gruntings were really starting to get on my nerves. :/
I guess I need a crash course on redstone functionality before even attempting to proceed any further...

Please do! I just ask that you do 2 things:
- Point people back here
- Don't use the name "EscapeCraft," and make your own. Its just less confusing that way.
EDIT: For those who have problems "finding" the Real Ending

I don't know if this is alowed but when i was supposted to deposit my water I dumped it and picked it up fast so I could advance and keep the water.
Then when I was on the roof I used the water to scale to the top of the wall. Then I made a waterfall and swam down it to freedom. XD
