Been a while since the last tutorial - sorry! It's been busy on my end lately, but nonetheless, a new tutorial has been released -- Blocks! I should be more active in these tutorials from now on!
Have you created the 'UnnamedModItem' class yet? If not, create that, and put it in a separate package (e.g. com.gmail.therealunknownk.mods.unnamed.mod.items).
Then in the same tutorial, find where I created my Item class, a pick up from there.
I am having some troubles with "Now, you will get a few errors under some things. To fix them, press Shift-Command-O (Mac) or hover over the error and click import. You will have a few more errors as well, but we will fix them later."
I am on windows 8 and just hit tutorial #2 and I cant find import when i hover over it how do I fix this?

Your hovering over the error in Eclipse, correct? If it is not showing anything, then it may be a slight glitch where there isn't really an error. Save the file, close it, then re-open it to see if it is still there.
Never mind the import is magicly gone again and im having troubles with this I have done all the steps to the end of tut 2 without it I I would love to find out a way to fix this.
this is my version:
Luna Service Release 1a (4.4.1)
I use a Mac, in which is already pre-packaged with Java/JDK, so I do not know how to install it on Windows - there are plenty of tutorials for that out there ;).
I am also having troubles running minecraft from eclipse any help?
So you've pushed the green button (with the arrow), and Minecraft doesn't startup? If that is the case, let me know, and I can help you fix that. If not, then what are you trying to do to run the game?
I have made the UnnamedModItem class file: Thanks in advance again
Make sure you've imported 'UnnamedModItem' in your ModItems class (see where you have your imports - click the '+' next to it to see all your imports, and check to see that UnnamedModItem is being imported.
Also, I recommend making 'unnamedmod' capitalized to 'UnnamedMode', as that is how you will typically see it. You can do so by right clicking, and going to 'Refractor'.
public class ModItems() -Syntax error on token "class", @ expected

}
} Multiple markers on this line -Syntax error, insert "enum Identifier" to complete EnumHeader -Syntax error, insert "EnumBody" to complete EnumDeclartion -Syntax error insert ")" to complete Modifer
Sorry, I should have elaborated on the errors earlier and I checked to see if its imported and it is and the unnamedmod is capitalized. thanks again.

Ok, I'll look into your error. It's probably something simple, but I'll check it out ;).
No problem
Tutorial #5 has been put out now. No more pink/black squares!
import net.minecraft.item.Item;
