HELP!!! Dude your videos are amazing! I love them! But my computer totally reset and i had to reset my mod. So i had to re watch the first video, And this is what forge does when i try to install it.
can u make a video to show how to make a block that can be broken by only certain pickaxes
So where you put resistance level for said block put a number no other mod might use; for instance 9. And in the EnumToolMaterial, make the first variable (first, second, third, fourth) the same number, in this case 9. If it annoyed you that I'm not synanonic I'm sorry.

how would i add a new ranged weapon? like a bow requiring ammo. and also how would i make one that's just a stack in your hand? like throwing knives
I can't give you exact code for this, but try remaking the snowball's code to do more than 0 damage (use a sword for help on that topic) and retexture it to whatever you need. StackSize is also a void there that you can change. So, Happy Coding.

I've also got the same question as bengi123, how to texture the different sides of a block, and I'm also wondering how I would go about making a block that was the same sort of thing as a glass pane in size. Would I just extend that class and redo the textures and overwrite the transparency? I also would like to know how to make the crafting recipies for these items, but as I am only on video 3 of the modding tutorials, I'm assuming that's gone over that in another video. Anyway, thanks to whomever can help.
I'm new to modding in general, and I was wondering how to make a multi texture block face you when placed, and each side have the correct texture. If anyone can help me with this, I will be very appreciative.
can u plz do a vid on how to make textures work with out having to put them in ur minecraft.jar
using Eclipse,
make a package in the src/minecraft
call it assets/yourmodname/textures/items
repeat but replace /items with /blocks
place textures in these folders manually

When I try starting Eclipse, it says "Failed to load the JNI shared library "C:\Users\JalunerD\Desktop\jdk1.7.0_51\bin\..\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll".
Any advice?
