im pretty new at building with command blocks especially with the /scoreboard command. so i built a machine where you can win gold nuggets. after ten rounds or something like that, all players have to craft their nuggets into gold ingots. so i did the /scoreboard objectives add ingots stat.craftItem.gold_ingot Gold but if i craft an ingot the number doesnt get added to my scoreboard (yes it is displayed in the player list, but it stays 0.)
would be really happy if you could help me
I don't have a lot of experience with the craftItem scores. Have you tried doing this in survival mode? It may not work in creative.

ok question about scoreboard teams. If I wanted to run a command that gives a player an item what would I put in the command to make it so only players on Team1 would get the item?

Selectors. Always try selectors. Selectors are your friend.
Can you make more examples of applied applications. There's so many options and yet no base one place for this information. I'd start with simple examples and work up from there. This way people can find the nitch application they need to learn this. I'd also recommend Youtube links.
(I feel the examples for winning checks are good for now... The multiple objectives and getting them to show and making the CB's in the right order etc. is where I'm stuck.)
As far as Youtube Examples... I'm been studying some videos in hopes to learn from... Here are some:

Those are by Dragnoz. These seems to be pretty good and most thorough so far? I'm sending him a msg via youtube with a link to this reply so he knows he's being talked about.
I watched some other videos but they were splotchy on details and didn't go into how on everything.

Is there a way with stat.useitem to check for a name on the item.
I need this because I am making a spell map that uses the new boat mechanisms and the best way I've found to control when the particles show is with a scoreboard. Right now I have three different spells that are all under one scoreboard value which makes them all be cast at once. So basically I need the name to be detected on the scoreboard objectives to be able to cast a different spell on different wands.

/give @p[team=Recon] cobblestone
/give @p[team=Heavy] gold_block
Yes he need
S to use the examples given in game such as:
/scoreboard objectives <add,remove,list,setdisplay>
If you really wanna know you can test for multiple commands at once:
/testfor @a[score_(objective)_<min,max>=(value),score_(second objective)_<min,max>=(value)
mid im wrong please tell me I have tested this in 1.8.9 (the latest version of this day (12/25/15)).
Thank you very helpful👍🏻

Can you add examples of the commands? It will make it easier to understand.
