Hey Im new to modding on 1.6 where do I put my texture.png file?
texture.png files are no longer used in v1.5.+. Every block/item has its own specific textures now, that makes it much easier to do block animation, etc. .
I'm working on adding pipes to Nuclear Mod, and I'm trying to cobble together their logic for linking each other from the Fence blocks and Wall blocks.
But their rendering is broken. Do I *need* to make tile entities for these?

Question about your simple block. I've worked out how to add multiple textures but I'm curious about specific placement. It seems side's 1 and 0 are top and bottom, but how would I go about placing specific textures on the front and back and the rest of the sides sharing the same texture?
Are you positive, if so did you put the texture in the right spot?

i didn't make a texture for it because i copied the exact code from here and she didn't give out the texture map for it, so i don't know the dimensions and where to put stuff for the texture...
