Endermanage allows you to control which blocks Endermen are allowed to pick up and carry. The config file allows three modes: pick up no blocks except the ones specified, pick up the default blocks as well as the ones specified, or pick up all blocks except for the ones specified.
The default mode is to pick up no blocks except those specified, which by default essentially means Endermen will not pick up any blocks until the config is edited.
In 1.6.4: Individual blocks and block ranges can be specified, including mod block IDs.
In 1.7.10: Blocks are specified by their string IDs. This can be found in the debug info in F3, or somewhere like the Minecraft wiki.
Please note that some blocks, especially mod blocks, could have unexpected results from being carried. They may simply not render, or could potentially even crash your game!
Remember that you can set your game to peaceful to temporarily remove all Endermen if necessary.
This mod now has a 1.9 snapshot port for the Meddle mod launcher, and requires MeddleAPI. More info about that can be found here.
Requires Meddle v1.2.2+, MeddleAPI 1.0.1+, and DynamicMappings 006+

You don't need to ask permission to include this mod in a modpack. However, I do prefer that you include a list of mods somewhere on your site/page/thread with a link back to this forum thread, in case someone wants to report a bug. And while it's not necessary, I would appreciate you letting me know that you're putting it in your pack, and maybe a little about your pack if it's themed in some particular way. That way if someone asks for pack suggestions to try any of my mods, I'll know some to tell them!
You do not have my permission to re-host any of my mods in a way that you collect ad revenue for yourself from the download. I'm specifically putting this here because I know there are some sites which are doing it. Mod makers don't spend hours coding for you to profit off of them for doing nothing.
It is a great mod, but could you update it for 1.7.2, please?
Thanks!
I've thought about porting it, but they've moved towards removing block IDs in 1.7, which has made me hesitant to get into porting this mod so far. It'll be trickier for people to add individual blocks now unless they know the internal block name, which will be even harder to find out for modded blocks. Adding block ranges will also pretty much cease to exist. They'll have to be specified in a big long string of these now in the config.
It's not impossible, but the mod will just work a bit differently from now on.

It is easy to find the name of blocks, toggle the debug info in the tooltips (f3 + h), and they will have the name.
Installing this mod on my server I can only log in when I have the mod installed on my client as well. Is there a way to have clients "ignore" that this mod is installed on the server (I think no client side mod would be required for this)?
Any variant of this mod, even the simplest one that disables all block picking by endermen, would be very appreciated for the 1.7.10 versions of Forge.
Excellent! Endermen picking up blocks is the single most annoying "feature" of vanilla Minecraft for me. In frequently loaded chunks it becomes nothing short of non-player grief after a few days of gameplay. On modded worlds I use the config option in Father Toast's Special Mobs mod, but for my main SSP semi-vanilla world (no mods that add world gen, mobs, blocks or items), this will come in very handy. I appreciate the work you put into this mod, and I thank you.
Or...perhaps a (non-forge?) 1.9 version if you're still around? This is a terrific mod that offers considerable flexibility to enderman-environment interaction.

If you want I could port it.

I liked the Transistor!
There's now a 1.9 snapshot mod for this. It uses the Meddle mod launcher and needs MeddleAPI.

Is there a chance you'll make a Forge 1.8.9 version?
