Hey guys, since recently i'm using a ryzen 7 3800x and a rtx3070. In most games i can put the graphics to max and still have 60fps. Now i started up minecraft wondering how it would run. After loading the world and testing it on 64 chunk render distance, i noticed my rig is not getting more than 11fps. Is this normal for a game like minecraft or is something wrong with my rig.
I have been palying since 2014 but always with a shitty rig so i dont really know what fps to expect.

Greetings Royskillz
Lower your render distance to 16 or less.
Also you can't compare a poorly coded game that works with the Java engine to AAA games properly written with a proper games engine.
try to turn off your "terrain animation" and then tell me the results
