My son and I were playing a map we made and he TP me out of the map. The game crashed and now I can't log back into the map. I get an error: invalid move player packet received.
I've tried to edit playerdata with NBTExplorer but the same issue happens.
The location in the playerdata is 258.5, 1000000, 34.5
I'm guessing it's the 100000000 that's causing the problems. Nothing I change that to helps. I recreated the map and used the original spawn point location and I'm still spawning out of the map.
I deleted the playerdata and I still spawn out of the map.
What would cause that spawn point to stay even after deleting the playerdata?
I had the same problem and i found the solution, you need to change your position in(Using NbtExplorer) playerdata\uuid\pos, like you did i think. But you also need to change it in level.dat\data\Player\Pos. At least for me it worked!

How can I fix this.
Thank you.
Did he place a constantly active command block? Easiest way would be to just restore the world from backup.
I'm not sure what that is. He just said he used the "tp" command. I never made a backup :\
Well let that be your learning experience to create regular backups. That goes not only for games but for any digital data. Your last chance might be https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-java-edition/discussion/297844-official-corrupted-save-recovery-thread
That looks awesome, I'll give it a try.
Thank you very much !
