i have a java server (latest) running on linux that im playing with few of my friends,
i didnt made any change to the properties or to anything else in the last weeks and suddenly in the last 24 hours the server crashes few minutes after im restarting it,
alternatively you can try running Paper instead of the vanilla server jar for significant performance gains. its drag and drop replacement and really does significantly help. best of all you dont need to change the clients, only the server

that error you have is saying minecraft is having trouble writing to disk.

for 1.14.4 you should be using more ram, probably 4096mb
- java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar minecraft_server.1.14.4.jar nogui

Does it happen on one world or are others affected? Try allocating more RAM.
1. we only use 1 world, didnt tried with others
2. do you mean changing this line? java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.1.14.4.jar nogui?
1. Try a newly generated world.
2. Yes, you can increase the allocated amount of RAM by changing -Xmx.
that error you have is saying minecraft is having trouble writing to disk.
- your disk may be full.
- you may be trying to use a virtual disk.
- you may be using a network disk
- you may be trying to use a flash drive
