Hey guys dunno if it is just me but i am getting massive lag spikes when harvesting wood from trees and when they are decaying.....is anyone else having this problem?
Also before any comments asking system specs;
i9 9900k
vengence ram 3200mhz 16gb
gtx 1080ti 11gb
so i shouldn't really be getting this....and yes all my drivers are up to date....
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.

Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
I'm not at my main PC at the moment will post screenshot when I can but this is the jvm arguments I am using....its just something i found a while ago....I am getting averagely between 500-600 fps I just don't understand the lag...is this something with the newer snapshots? and why is it only when i'm harvesting trees and while they decay??[/b]
I have done that but I am still getting the same huge lag spikes and I have now tested my laptop as well and its getting the same thing only when harvesting trees and them decaying.....

I've only got it set to 12 anyway its the way I prefer to play....I've been running some tests and it seems like its worse in the spawn chunks as soon as i'm out of them it seems to go away....still this must be an issue? baring in mind i'm only on single player....and my PC should have no issues what so ever....I even check that I was on the latest java version and everything is up to date...
If there's a lot of tree foliage, fences and other complex blocks, then you may get lag.

Also what do these have to do with it?[/b]
Put those JVM arguments back to default.

Try lowering your render distance.
