I have a single player world in which i have been working for about a year now. About a month ago, i started noticing something peculiar. I can be playing normally, building, crafting and what not, and then, out of the blue, the game will stop updating.
It will not crash, nor will it freeze, i can keep running around, but at this point, interaction is completely gone. By this point i am not able to open chests, or any kind of inventory, i will not be able to get the dropped blocks when i mine, meaning i'm left with a hole in the ground where iron ore used to be, nothing.
The thing is, the game's framerate will not drop, and usually stays at the 60 - 90 fps range.
Now, when i go to close my world so i can go back to the main menu, the game completely freezes. It will just, stop. Sometimes i actually have to kill the process to continue. And when minecraft finally closes, my launcher will re-open, but won't show any trace of a crash report, an error or anything.
The only thing i have been able to gather, is that when this happens, the time graph on the debug screen will show a repeating orange peak, that appears periodically. Being honest with you all i have no idea what may be causing this. I have already run the world without mods, or without some specific mods that i thought would be the ones causing the problem, but to no avail.
I will share a screenshot of the time graph, so you can see for yourself.
