I'm running a bunch of mods for Forge 1.7.10(10.13.1.1226) and get constant stuttering and freezing. Things will be running smoothly for a few seconds, and I will get random drops to 0 FPS for a few seconds, then back up to my normal 70 FPS or so. This will continue to occur until my client finally just freezes. I've got a 64 bit OS(Win. 8.1) and have allocated 2GB of RAM to the profile I'm running this on. I haven't gotten any actual crashes, and thus far haven't been able to tell if the client and Forge logs give me any more specific reason. I'm running the following mods(with version numbers just in case):
Coremods: Mantle 1.0.3, Metallurgy 4.0.4.18, and RadixCore 1.3.3
Here's the client log from my latest freeze(sorry about the length, I'm not sure how discern what information is relevant out of it): http://pastebin.com/JSgZ85R0
I'll include a Forge log as well if someone can help me out. The latest one from the freeze was too large for pastebin :\
EDIT: I'll be glad to give more information if it is asked for.
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
I'll try throwing OptiFine and Fastcraft on with FPSplus and seeing if that helps(and hopefully they won't conflict at all ^^;; ). As for my CPU... Well, I think this may be what you're referring to:
Yeah, Windows didn't like me trying to copy and paste that, so you get the luxury of an image <_>
There's the JVM arguments as well:
-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
EDIT: I realized how many arguments I was unfamiliar with in that bunch, so I threw them out and grabbed some from another profile. After doing that and adding Fastcraft and OptiFine, things are working as they should, from what I can tell so far. I did them simultaneously so I'm not sure which solved the problem(assuming it wasn't the combination), but anything that makes the game run better is fine by me to stay anyway. Thanks, and I'll report back if the issue resurfaces.
