Hey, guys. I'm about to do my first ever PC build, and I am trying to download the latest drivers and put them on a flash drive.
The GPU I'll be purchasing is the Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB PCIE CrossFireX with Windows 8. However, when I go to the AMD website to find the driver, two options come up.
1. Catalyst Software Suite
2. AMD Catalyst Application Profiles (it says it supports crossfire)
Should I get both, or just one?
Also, I know that I need motherboard drivers for my Gigabyte GA Z77X UD3H… I know I need a LAN driver, an audio driver, a chipset driver, and a USB driver. However, Gigabyte gives me two options for chipset, and none for USB. I don't know what to do.
Read your motherboard manual for the specific drivers you need. If it's not listed, go to your motherboard's site and install the drivers (not utilities) for your mobo model.

Thanks, I just realized that when I install it, it will install the recommended drivers for me.
USB drivers are generally part of the chipset drivers, which typically install the motherboard-based functionality that is present. (With some exceptions like any on-board sound or video).

Thanks for any help!
You literally linked him to the page he was looking at.
"Programmers never repeat themselves. They loop."
I appreciate it. Any suggestions with the mobo drivers?
