English is my native language. I can read Japanese at an advanced level and can listen and speak it at an everyday conversational level, in few years, hopefully at a fluent level. I can read very basic Chinese. I can read Spanish at a lower-intermediate level, I study it frequently. If you can't tell, I really enjoy linguistics and being able to communicate with as many people as possible.

Let me know if my posts are helpful or if you like them. That's what I'm here for.
I am currently lurking more than I am posting. I haven't gone anywhere.
I speak English, though I can understand Canadian and British as well. I also took four semesters each of Japanese and Spanish, which means I retained enough to be able to read a few signs.
Does math count as a language? I'm pretty fluent in that.

"Most plans are critically flawed by their own logic. A failure at any step will ruin everything after it. That's just basic cause and effect. It's easy for a good plan to fall apart. Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic cannot be stopped. The success or failure of any given step will have no impact on the macro level."

Not really, though I' pretty fluent in it as well . Learned calculus when I was 13, peeps .
Then there's a whole bunch of programming languages... That also doesn't count here, though .
I'm thinking specifically of a quote by Galileo, "La matematica è l’alfabeto nel quale Dio ha scritto l’universo."
Translated, it's roughly, "Math is the language with which God has written the universe."
