The reason is is because the adventure udate, or 1.8 was actually from the beta part of Minecraft about 2 years ago in 2011. I went on google images and searched: Minecraft 1.8 and the results were the adventure update pictures and all. I clicked on one, and I read that it was for 1.8.1 Minecraft beta.
