There is a difference between bumping (posting nothing new) and trying to explain to a member why we wont do something.
My "defensiveness" is nonexistent, I am explaining to you why your request will not be fulfilled.
I never thought it would be fulfilled (even though it should be). I wouldn't expect that from the forum admins here.
And, I am just explaining that the effort you put into defending your stance (which, if you're not defending, I'm not sure why you would continue trying to supposedly "explain" it. Especially, if we already know not to expect that from the forum admins here) and the amount of posts you make in the process of doing so is more than the effort and amount of posts that would be made by just going ahead and keeping us updated. Again, if only half the effort and posts you have put into this discussion (which is unneeded since, again, we already know not to expect anything from the forum admins here) was put into a quick update now and then, I'm sure users here would appreciate it. After all, we don't tend to hear when something IS happening. So, telling us nothing new is happening is actually telling us something. But, again, we already know not to expect that from the forum admins here. Which, I can't help but find interesting due to the effort trying to explain something we already know.
Well this has turned into a circle argument that will not cease so I'm sadly locking this thread.
As said about the topic, the bug is being looked in to but it is one thing on a list of things of varying importance so it will be fixed when it's gotten to. We have some wonderful server staff working on the issues and I am quite certain they will resolve it. An update will be posted when any progress has been made as, as Beltir pointed out, it's pointless and a waste of time to do better things than posting "No update yet" every day.
And to clarify NO-ONE on the administrative volunteer staff has any access to the server code nor will Curse allow anyone of us to go poking around and potentially breaking stuff.
Thank you for your patronage and have a nice day now.
