I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of having people make threads as if the forum was their personal twitter. "GUYS I FOUND A DUNGEON, SO I BUILT A TRAP AROUND IT."
I've seen 5 of these threads in 2 days, with other threads structured around similar things. I think the forum should have a little section which basically acts as a place where you can make a thread about what you did in minecraft that day.
Or, y'know, you could make a thread about it in minecraft discussion or beta survival n-n

Do not wallow do not stall
Time waits for none at all
Your allowance may crawl,
It may fly or even vanish
But none will seem more lavished
Than time lost to all.
Like I said, this is a suggestion for a new part of the forums, so it wouldn't make much sense to put this into the minecraft or survival section
I think you mis-understood what Shairn said.
Instead of making a whole forum section for it, we could just make a thread. I agree with this idea, as all these "What I did in Minecraft today" threads, really don't deserve their own thread, and would be better placed in a 'Discussion Thread'.
I'll consider making a sticky like that, don't know if it's that useful though, since we don't promote people making small, meaningless posts.
Don't think we'll ever really consider a whole forum section for it. As I said before, we don't want to encourage these posting habits.

"Can you point to the object that represents a resilient parasite of an idea caught in the tangled nature of the subconscious human mind? Thaaaat's right!"
And while I don't think we should encourage such useless posts, people will continue to make them, and keep flooding the forums with "So I found a spider jockey!". This way we could make it so that everyone who makes a thread like this gets warned, so that people can get it through their heads that they don't need a whole new thread for an idiotic post.

Generally we try to lock those threads, and we warn the repeat offenders, who do it on purpose.
Just report them when you see them, and we'll handle them as fast as possible.
