The UserCP Introduction:
The UserCP is a greatly underestimated Forum Tool, that contains many powerful features to contribute to your forum browsing experience!
Overview Tab Front Page
This section shows you all the global announcements circling the board. Underneath that, it shows your activity information (Your Posting sections, date joined, etc.)
In this area you can Delete and View all the threads and forums you have subscribed to. To subscribe to a thread/topic, click the button at the bottom of the page that says either:
You will now receive email notifications when a new post arrives in the subscribed topic/forum.
In this area you can Delete and View all the threads you have bookmarked. To bookmark a thread, click the button at the bottom of the page that says:
Now this topic will be displayed in the 'Manage Bookmarks' section. This is a way to always find your favorite threads, even if they are buried under a stack of other threads.
In this section you can view, edit and delete your saved drafts. When posting, click the save button instead of the submit button, to save a draft. Do this if you have a long unfinished post, and need to come back to it later.
This section is a list of all the attachments you have posted on these forums. When Posting, click on the 'Upload Attachment' tab (Next to the 'Options Tab'), and follow the prompts to upload items to share with the rest of the forum userbase.
Profile Tab Edit Profile
Here you can change all your contact and personal information. Click Submit when you are done.
Here you can edit your signature, which is the block of text that sits right below every post you make.
Here you can upload yourself an Avatar (A Picture), that appears next to your user-name in every post you make.
Edit Account Settings
Here you can change all your private account settings, like your password and email-address.
Board Preferences Tab
In this Whole Tab you can change all the setting which affect what is displayed on your forum page
(Signatures, Flash Animations, etc.)
Private Messages Tab
Has already been discussed in the OP.
This section has no relevance to anyone who is not a moderator rank.
Friends and Foes Tab Manage Friends
Here you can add and delete friends.
Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted.
Here you can add and delete foes.
Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.
Add it if you think it's useful.
Also, sorry for the long wait for a reply.

"Can you point to the object that represents a resilient parasite of an idea caught in the tangled nature of the subconscious human mind? Thaaaat's right!"
I wouldn't even recommend using the forum attachment feature, there are much better alternatives you can use for files (http://drop.io/) and images (http://www.cubeupload.com/ or http://tinypic.com/). I really recommend these sites, they work great and aren't annoying (well for me they aren't; I use an ad-blocker).
I added the banner for this thread about the same time it was posted, and it's hosted on tinypic. Also, the attachment system seems to be buggy and very limited; I have nothing in my list of attachments and it says "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." when I try to upload a 48kb image file, and zip/rar files are not an allowed file type to attach.
Oh, drop.io was great. That is bad news. :sad.gif:
I just discovered an undocumented feature of the forum. or at least one that this thread does not mention.
While using the post editor, the following shortcut keys are available -
Alt+b - bold
Alt+i - italic
Alt_u - underline
Alt+q - quote
Alt+c - code
Alt+l - list
Alt+o - ordered list
Alt+w - url
Alt+p - img
Alt+t - list item
Alt+k - save post
Alt+s - submit post
please also implement keys for preview post, text sizes, and simg. I propose the following:
change list item to Alt+x (or maybe Alt+8 because the * is on the 8 key)
set preview post to Alt+t (t is for test)
set text size codes to Alt+1 through Alt+5 (smallest to largest)
