I suggest boosting up the limit. Ideally it would be 200 high, but 175 or 150 would be fine.
Having a larger size allows room for more signature shops, and having signature shops are almost always activity boosting and in some cases have made a brand new community inside the forum. It would make the forums thrive even more and their really is no reason to have the limit so small.
We are generally against giving users with more posts or who have been here longer additional privilages. In your example, Husky, we'd have users spamming (moreso than they do now) just to get to the threshold for the larger signature.
As for the signature size, it's fine where it is. We are a Minecraft forum, not a signature shop, and the annoyance of overly-large signatures (prompting the current limit) is more important than whether we have a sub-community of signatures shops here.
Every once in a while we'll get a thread like this, and it's typically the same: A signature image is nothing more than an e-penis that people want to be as large as possible. But in reality, a few pixels isn't going to significantly change the exposure. Those who are wanting the maximum size are typically also the ones willing to be obtrusive, which is not a behavior we encourage.
And my favorite argument: If you can't say/show what you need to in the current limit, it's probably not worth saying/showing anyways.

Why not?
