Don't forget to be brave! If they don't accept you, it's fine! Maybe you could try again in the near future.

Oh don't worry, I know the feeling. I was rejecting twice so far. Was too young I guess.
I know that feeling.. I actually don't think I'm ready to be a mod yet.

Not being rude, but post count kinda is a check of how experienced on the forum you are.
No no, I'm not talking about here, I mean in general.

side from the stock answers, the best thing I can say is this: Think of the kind of person you'd like to see as a forum moderator. Then be that person. Even if you don't end up as a moderator, you'll be respected by other forum members, and that is not a bad thing.
I am applying to be a moderator too and to be honest have been rejected before but the best thing to do is to be yourself. If you like helping players than do that, if you like talking to players than do that, if you like assisting players with in-game difficulties do that to. Always follow the rules and remember you have to be professional but also have fun
post in quality not quantity, Simple rule to live by for any forum. Always report rules that are being broken don't quote them, For this can cause problems. Above all else always turn to the forum rules for guidance.
The information that is contained within that thread (and it's replies) is no longer relevant now that the forum has switched to Cobalt. I assume that's why it has been hidden.
Can I have some tips, on what the forums needs, and how I can improve my applications (not by lying) to probably get accepted one day?
Thank you for reading!

Neither age nor post count are relevant when it comes to hiring a moderator.
The golden age: it's not the game, it's you ⋆ Why Minecraft should not be harder ⋆ Spelling hints
Why?

It most likely wont be up until the forums are completely ready for new mods.
