I'm very happy with the newest updates, (snapshots). The game is becoming harder through AI changes, and the game is getting more beauty. The jungles! I do hope we get a monkey along with the new leopard type mob.
Slowly, the game is starting to feel less... Well, less generic and stale. It's slowly becoming more dynamic and flavorful. (Opposite of bland)
I cannot wait to see what great things Jeb and Jon bring to the game, hopefully they will improve game feel even further as they ago along. As for me, I give them my full support.
They are making minecraft fun again, the kind of fun that I got from alpha and beta, that fun that faded :/
These two dudes are bring it back!
Hazaaaa!
More color and flavor!
Do you feel the game is becoming less bland slowly?

Lol, so true. We need more passive mobs to make the world feel more alive.

the skylands, I heard they were still thinking about it. Which would ROCK
Skylands was rumored prior to the end was released because notch posted a test pic of the end before it added darkness. So no I doubt they will make one, Mojang points people to the Aether and said they have done it better. And if Mojang did make it we will see idiots going "OMG SOOO UNORIGINAL" anyways so I don't blame them.
But Minecraft to be me never got bad of course I look at the beta as it was a Beta there was no deserved/promised/obligated/etc features that needed to be added between From Alpha to Gold.
Notch said he was thinking of adding a separate sky dimension that you get to the first time accidentally in your sleep in game, like a dream world. Then you can go back there by choice once you get lucky enough the first time.
Jungle quicksand anyone? Bogs in the swamp? Cave ins? Avalanches? Sandstorms? More weather and random events like I stated would be cool. Quicksand and bogs are what would be really awesome though.
The end and nether need tons of work still (not to mention the overworld - useful NPCs anyone?). The nether is actually a bit more fun thanks to jeb, and now he made the best, imo, biome in the game.
So i fully trust jeb with the game and am glad notch gave him head dev
I'm still hoping for a bit more nether content, 1 or 2 ores. and ofcourse a lot harder mobs in the nether. The nether is even safer than the overworld now. I also want underwatercontent but they're headin in the right direction. I love the jungle and the ocelots even though I will use wolves more. maybe they should make bith pets inetract with each other and ofcourse some cool skins for the wolves too :smile.gif:
well for underwater content they had to wait for advanced pathfinding in 3 dimensions and now that they have jon they are closer than ever
personally i want to see some readable lore in villages and quests, better server management tools would be good as well

That would be amazing

They need to fix the glitches and focus on that. There is no reason why a game like Minecraft should soak up all my ram, and then run slow because it has maxed it out. No excuse. Stuff like that should be fixed before new content is added. :tongue.gif:

There is a reason its called Java.. unless they rewrite the entire game in C++ all you can really do is allocate more RAM (which java default is VERY low FYI)

Plus, it's hilarious to watch the skeletons run for cover when the sun comes up.
Do they have better aim now? I've not seen them yet haha.
Yeah the nether needs a bit more love, but the over-world does too. Plus the skylands
