Are NPC Villages really going to get their own biomes in the future? I want to know because if they do get their own biomes, it will probably be better than the current villages that spawn in Plains and Deserts; I want to find a very good village and then try to refurbish it to make it my own.(Putting walls, building extra buildings etc) I just don't want to start all over because I have found a better village in the future than the current villages.

Well, biomes can't currently influence the structure of other biomes, so an NPC village biome would need height parameters that make sense between, say, an ocean and an extreme hills biome (if I understand that correctly, which I very well may not :tongue.gif:).
So NPC Villages already have their own biomes? I searched the Minecraft Wiki in the NPC Village section and it said that they eventually will have their own biome. EVENTUALLY. So does it mean that it currently does not have it's own biome?
They will have their own biome , dont expect something fancy , probably a similar biome as grassland , it will be just so villages wont be as f*cked up as they are now , they wont add anything to them , even in their biome , just a place for them to spawn properly.
I was thinking about this. It would be a great idea. It could be like slime spawning chunks. If you build anything on a village spawning chunk, it will be inhabited by villagemen. :tongue.gif:
