I've posted this a long time back now, just wondering if any new eyes would have an explanation.
Back in 2013 I had a singleplayer survival world that was my main world. In that world I came across this structure that I haven't been able to explain to this day. (NOTE: the pc that this world was on broke so I no longer have the world, just these screenshots.)
It was a small-scale sandstone pyramid which spawned in the middle of a snow biome? inside it had two zombie spawners, a column of water from the ceiling and a single chest with items that don't naturally spawn stacked i.e, gold helmets.
These screenshots were taken when the game was in java 1.5, shortly after the desert pyramids that we are familiar with now, were added. This was a purely survival world as cheats were turned off and no one else played minecraft on the pc except for me.
If anyone has any explanations as to what this could be or has seen something like this before please let me know.
I can say for certain that this is either the result of a mod, custom map, or prank as there was never any code in the game that could generate a structure like this, not even as the result of some strange combination of a desert temple and dungeons, nor did gold helmets, paintings, or signs naturally generate as chest loot in 1.5 (data packs didn't exist back then either, so a mod, custom map, or prank are the only possible options).
Hi there,

Did you install any mods or datapacks?

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Brick_Pyramid#:~:text=The brick pyramid was a,so it was mostly useless. Maybe something to do with this?
Facts don't care about your feelings, and this is a fact: voicechat is for people who don't know how to type.
TheMasterCaver excluded this possibility becouse of the spawners and the chestloot.
Even if the world is corruptet, there is no way something unintended could generate that far off previous generation codes.
My projects:
-are abandoned for now. I might pick 'em up in the future.
For now i'm working on a private modpack that suit's my own playstyle.
I am gonna stay in modded 1.12.2 untill my potato dies. No mercy! :Q
Yeah, you've got a point. Chances are this is fake. Could possibly be a crazy corruption.
