So i want to do some papercraft, and i would like to know what are the sizes of the parts that constitute for example a Fox, so that i can make it in real scale if i want to.
I tried to figure out if you can see the code of the game itselft but it doesnt seem possible.
Does anybody know how to get this models?
Thanks
You can view the game's code if you install the Forge development environment, which includes the decompiled source (I'd normally suggest MCP but it hasn't been updated since 1.12); it would probably be in a file named ModelFox or such, with the dimensions coded in; for example, this is for a generic "biped" mob (using code from 1.6.4, so it may be different):
Although this is quite difficult to understand; the only part that seems obvious are the last few numbers in the "addBox" lines, which corresponds to the size of each part in pixels (width, height, depth, as seen from the front); the numbers before that must specify its relative position or something (I've never tried making my own entity models, and I presume most modders who do do not try coding them in with raw code but use a modeling tool, which could possibly be used to "decompile" code like this). Also, most baby mobs seem to scale everything except the head by 0.5, so they are half the size (horses are an exception; they gradually increase in size).
YEah sorry this is too smart for me, ive tried installing many things but always get stuck at some point.
It seems that baby fox body an tail are .5 the size (every pixel is .5 of normal block pixel size) but the head is some other size entirely, so i still dont know what to do

Count the pixels?

Just testing.
You cant because the baby fox for example puts the same pixels into a smaller size

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
