Am looking for help on importing a custom banner from needcoolshoes.com. When I type in the give command, I just keep getting a lot of syntax errors, and the issues are well above my skill level to fix. I've been doing google searches for the past hour and I can't seem to find any information on this. From what I've gathered, the command has simply changed so the old code no longer functions.
This is what I'm told to use, I've narrowed down that the minecraft: part is no longer needed, but I can't figure out all the pattern sections. Any help would be awesome.

This only works on java (Windows 7-8 and Mac). To do this in bedrock you have to do this in a different way.
1. Make a chest with the banner exactly how you want it.
2. When you want to give a player the banner you do /execute @p ~ ~ ~ /clone <chest coordinates> <chest coordinates again> ~ ~2 ~ In a repeating command block. Then in a chain command block that is conditional that the other command block works, do /execute @p ~ ~ ~ /fill ~ ~2 ~ ~ ~2 ~ air 0 destroy. Then in a chain command block that is conditional that the other chain command block works do /kill @e[type=item, name = "Chest"]This will clone the chest above the players head for a very brief time then break it and the banner will fall out.
The chest will then be deleted when it is destroyed. Unfortunately this will delete all items dropped on the ground named "Chest".

/give @p minecraft:banner 1 0 {BlockEntityTag:{Base:7,Patterns:[{Pattern:ss,Color:14},{Pattern:br,Color:0},{Pattern:tl,Color:0},{Pattern:cbo,Color:1},{Pattern:bts,Color:0},{Pattern:tts,Color:0},{Pattern:ms,Color:0},{Pattern:mr,Color:15},{Pattern:dls,Color:0},{Pattern:mc,Color:2},{Pattern:flo,Color:0}]}}

Which MC version are we talking about here?
