Please help me if you can. I made this fancy house in a Jungle and I was surviving really well on one of my survival worlds, but when I pressed Save and Quit like usual, it deleted them. I can't find them anywhere! Any world that I press save and quit for disappears! Please help me. I am now afraid to play Minecraft and go in any of my worlds!
If the worlds are disappearing from the saves directory in your minecraft folder (not the menu screen, there are bugs that can make worlds disappear from the menu screen while still existing in the saves folder), then you can try making backups of them every time you open them, so you still have them, though you won't be able to save changes this way. Also, if you'r e using mods or a snapshot, this may be a bug. Try removing mods until it resolves if you are using mods or try a different snapshot version if you are using snapshots.

If you're on Windows, there might be an automatic backup that you could restore from. Press [Windows key]+[R], and then type in "%appdata%" into the box that pops up (without quotes, but do include the percent signs). From there, go into the ".minecraft" folder (note the leading period) and right-click on "saves". Select "Restore previous versions" and look for one with a timestamp from before the world was deleted. Select one to restore, and then click "Restore."
NOTE: This can not be undone, so make sure to make a backup of your "saves" folder's current contents in a safe place first, just in case.
Alternatively, instead of actually restoring the folder, you could select "Copy" instead of "Restore". This will ask you where you want to save the restored version, instead of overwriting what's already there. Then, you can go into the restored copy, find your world save, and copy it back into the real "saves" folder.
