(Don't know what happened, but I had a thread about this and now it's just gone...) I'm a mostly self-taught (or google-taught) keyboardist, and I'm learning a slow-ish song (1 second per beat; 4 seconds per measure). The song is composed of mainly 3 consecutive notes throughout most of the second (D minor 1 measure, A minor 1 measure, and G minor 2 measures). The chord begins to fade after time, and the song can sound empty, especially on the G minor. What are the best ways to fill in the empty space in songs? I've seen some ways (like playing the chord 1 note at a time), but they begin to sound repetitive.
