My grandson lives in Europe and I live in USA. He has been creating worlds on his laptop - I what to buy the newest version of MindCraft. So we both will have a copy of MindCraft - now we want to set up a multiplayer so we both can create a world together. How can we do this?

The easiest way to do this would be to rent a Minecraft realm. To find out more, click here: https://minecraft.net/realms
I had trouble when I tried to forward my reuter's ports. If its just going to be you and him, why not use Hamachi (https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx).
NOTE: If you are the one who wants to go on his worlds, then he needs to be the one to set this up.
