Currently working on a map that uses armour stand statues and item frames. Is there a way to disable accessability to the items that the armour stands and item frames are holding?
I remember doing this way in the past back when /entitydata was a thing but i'm unsore of how to go about this now.
I know you can spawn them in with items equipped and disable the slots, but i have already placed down like 70 stands and have no wish to do it all over again.
/execute as @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand] run data modify entity @s DisabledSlots set value 2039583
Item frames don't have a tag for disabling the item slot but you can place a barrier block in front of it or constantly summon a barrier block in front of it. Take a look at this video
For item frames, you can actually disable access to them by giving them an invulnerability tag (assuming your map is in adventure mode). You need to place them with a command block though:
You can change "Facing:" with 0-5 to determine which way it's facing, and you won't be able to break it or remove the item in Adventure mode (but you can in creative)

Many thanks!

/summon item_frame ~ ~1 ~ {Facing:5,Invulnerable:1}
