Not sure what caused this, never seen it before but it allows you to remove the block below the mushroom and then you can stand there are breath in the air around the mushroom, allows for unlimited underwater fun :biggrin.gif:
It would appear this occurs when you flood a cave yourself (thanks jack)
The cave must've been flooded after the map was generated.
Mushrooms have just had their dieing conditions reversed so they die in light not shadow. Which means they don't die in water (because it casts a shadow).

It's pretty well known now.
ahh okay then, hadn't seen it before or seen it mentioned here. Sorry guiez :sad.gif:
I like it though, you can make a simple flood barrier that doesn't require you to get flooded while letting water through.
Step 1: Make your pipe, then put a block(that doesn't let light through) above the spot where the water will come out.
Step 2: Place mushrooms under the block that doesn't let light through that you placed down before.
Step 3: Get the water ready to be let out.
Step 4: Delete the block that casts a shadow and watch your mushrooms die.
Step 5: Watch your water go through the pipe without worrying about getting flooded.

Talent didn't go anywhere, it just gets lost in all the noise. You have to find it.
You can use flowers the same way, except with flowers, if you're quick enough, you can place it and delete it really fast to get unlimited air.
Lol yep, came on here to post this. It has helped me tons of times!
