They are super fast now. They aggro you from the other side of the map. Its totaly unfair. After killing 6 Creepers and 10 skeletons, and you have 1/2 of your last heart left. And you have 20000 points. A zombie comes and ruins the entire thing. They move too fast.

Creepa stole ma bike. [SSSS]
Sooo... when's the next seecret Friday update topic going up? =[
I feel like the level of difficulty is appropriate for a game mode titled, "Survival" but that's just me. Perhaps there should be more than one difficulty setting? What we have now could be normal, things would be slower in easy, and super-awesome in hard.

"Look! Grass underground! It's thar!"
"Don't be a smartass."
"More like smartgrass am I right?"
Yeah, each of the enemies has some different trait to provide a challenge. Skeletons spit arrows at you, creepers explode upon death, and zombies are fast. Boringly easy enemies are no fun.
And hey, with how fast they are, you can't just hold left mouse and watch them bounce harmlessly off your flying fists of fury. Cause chances are, they'll get in there and hit you during their invincibility time, cause they're just that damn fast.
This is why I spend the first 10 minutes of a survival game on the hunt for mushrooms, get a good stock pile of them - anything over 20 is good - and then run around hitting things with your mushroom, when you lose heath a quick left click sorts you out.

Try moving a bit backwards while punching.
If survival is too hard for you, then don't play.
But yeah, when Survival Mode first arrived, I was pretty disappointed because the enemies weren't difficult and I would have to hunt for more underground, consuming hours, because following the tapping you hear isn't that easy. Then I found out about tab for arrows which was fun to play with for a few minutes... Then it was just so easy and boring I really did feel down about having been anticipated all of this time.
...But then the update arrived and the tables turned. Having the monsters faster and more powerful puts the challenge into Survival Mode so that you actually have to be cautious about where you tread, instead of just knowing that there's a potential threat somewhere if you just listen for the crunching noises. A bunch of skeletons could spot you and fire arrows at you when you least expect it if you don't actually look out for them. And the other two enemies are faster so you now have to be careful how you attack them if you don't have arrows at the ready. Challenge is what this game NEEDED! I now feel the frequent rush of adventure and challenge, and it's a lot more fun that way. The game isn't trying to let you win, it's trying to make you lose. You just have to forsee its traps.
Keep them as they are. I like them actually being a threat. As someone already pointed out: Survival is somewhat like a rogue like game - It's really hard and you die often - but the feeling of success after beating a mob is great.
You are discussing something related to survival, hence it should be in the survival section.
"Don't be a smartass."
"More like smartgrass am I right?"
Seriously, I'm having way more fun dying than I would ever have watching my point count tick up.

Bad advice, that is...
Too hard, survival is. Play more, you should. Good advice, [out of place dramatic pause] this is.

Also, creepers are freakin' scary.
Make the game easier? I think not.
