Just been playing through the survival test a bit, and I've been thinking forward to the multiplayer... as have we all, I suppose.
Now, materials quickly fill up my slots, and invariably get in the way. I want the brown mushrooms for instance, and can't pick'em if flowers/roses and gold take up space.
(possible bug here, I picked a red shroom and it immediately took the slot when I planted all my flowers... which was a bit later.)
So what I would like to be able to do is to deposit blocks. I figure it would be useful in multiplayer, being a group effort. If some people play as, or fill the role of Miners, and others Fighters, and naturally Crafters/Builders, if I'm a miner it would be great if I could just head up through my hole, run to the castle/fortress/village or whatever and simply dump my blocks of rock and ore or whatever.
Preferably not just by placing them, which would require the Crafters to re-mine them, but just to dump the load somewhere and head back to mining.
Also, I'd very much like to discard a slot. Empty it and make room for serious stuffs.
Just a thought.

"Most countries are static, and they need to do is keep having babies. But America's like this big old clanking smoking machine that just lumbers across the landscape scooping up and eating everything in sight."
I'd also like to see crafters being able to place weapons and armor on the ground for anyone to pick up. If me and some others put up a fortress/village and things start to get serious, if I die I'd like to be able to stock up quickly.
Would be neat to have an armory full of the stuff, and a warehouse where I could drop off my mined resources and the like.

We need waaay more inventory slots, but I think someone already said that.
