This is a Tutorial, or a installation guide for minecraft forge. It can be used for when you have a mod and you don't have a Mac but you want to have a Mac Installation guide on your post.
First you need to download a free program off of the App Store, it is called "The Unarchiver".
From here you need to locate your minecraft folder. There are two ways.
Option 1. You click “Go” on the top bar.
Then Choose “Go To Folder”.
Finally copy and paste:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Option 2. First you click on “Go”.
Then Press and hold Alt.
Click on the “Library” button that just appeared.
Navigate to the “Application Support” folder.
and finally find the “minecraft” folder.
Now that you have found the minecraft Folder, You must go to the Bin. Then Right-Click minecraft.jar
and Open With Unarchiver. It will create a folder that has the same classes that the minecraft.jar has. Go into that folder and search META-INF, Then delete that folder.
When the file is finished downloading, you also use the Unarchiver to make a folder.
Now that you have both as folders, you click command-A and drag all of the minecraftforge classes to the minecraft folder that you created with the Unarchiver.
You are done! You should be able to load-up Minecraft with Forge!
And of course if you want to put add a mod, just locate your minecraft folder and there will be a mods folder and coremods (if you have run minecraft with forge installed) and place the mod .ZIP in one of them (which ever the author says).
