can you please give us an example on how to make armors?
i just really need an example or all codes that i need.
I will make a tutorial for custom armour, but it seems people want a custom tree first.
Though the tree is a pretty big thing in code if you want it to have custom blocks in it. So I think I might have to make a armour tutorial first.
Okey I just finished the tutorial for custom recipes, I hope you find them helpful. If not please leave a comment telling why.
Glad I was able to help you.

You can use up till 9 variables since there is 9 slots in a crafting table. Just remember to tell what it is in the end with 'e', 'r' and so on.
There is always 'e' and then comma and the block/item you want in there.

If you are trying to make a method called renderRegisters it should be like this:
public void renderRegisters() {
}
I has to be parentheses and curly brackets.
(EDIT) Nevermind, same parentheses and curly brackets. THANKS FOR THE HELP SO MUCH!
Thanks so much!
But what would you do with registerRenders? Once I put this in, that's still giving me an error.
This is the error:
Description Resource Path Location Type
The method registerRender() of type ClientProxyTutorial must override or implement a supertype method ClientProxyTutorial.java /Minecraft/src/HIDDEN line 6 Java Problem
I also added the source code for it, so that you can check out how I did it (keep in mind I used a different set-up with many packages instead of one).
Can you make a tutorial to add potion effects to food ex. (like poison and such)
I have already made this. If you go to the Food tutorial, in the main class spoiler, there is a spoiler at the very last telling how you give them potion effects.
@ForgeSubscribe
public static boolean onLivingDrops(EntityLiving EntityPig, DamageSource generic, ArrayList<EntityItem> ItemLard, int lootingLevel, boolean recentlyHit, int specialDropValue)
{
return MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.post(new LivingDropsEvent(EntityPig, generic, ItemLard, 5, recentlyHit, 100));
}
i get ant error when i try to run it
I will check it out, haven't really used that much events so I'll have to check them out.
It seems people don't want video tutorials. Could you tell me why? I will still be doing text tutorials, but you will get video tutorials as well. This can make it easier to understand some parts, like texturing and I can explain stuff in more detail.

KK thx
(I'm coding in Eclipse)
Every time I put in
public void renderRegisters[][
It always gives me a syntax error saying something like "Syntax error expected ] at line"
I was wondering if you could give me a little help on this?
Thanks.
(P.S) The syntax error says "Syntax error on token "(","{" expected after this token"

So I added the armour tutorial, hope you all enjoy.

Do you have:
Inside your load method in the main class?
Please give show me the code, else there are know way I can tell where you got wrong.
