I get an error on "new" It tells me to delete "new" so I did and the error went away but when I started minecraft I got an error.
I'm getting the error here:

MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new emeraldsplus_EventSounds);

What is emeraldsplus_EventSounds?

Learn some Java before you mod, and skip over the chapter on ModLoader, straight to MinecraftForge. It's better. Trust me.
